4 months old boy, Timbits!

In the vet's carpark

He's named after the nickname of

the famous Canadian doughnuts brand

"Tim Hortons",

as the owners are Canadians.

獣医の駐車場で遭遇した

4ヵ月の男の子「ティンビッツ」くん！

カナダの有名なドーナッツ

「ティム・ホートン」の

ニックネームから名付けられたそうだ。

飼い主さんはもちろんカナダ人！

3 year old boy, Jesper!

According to the owner,

Jesper is very fussy and

not very friendly to other dogs,

but he was very friendly to our dogs.

Our dogs are normally 

not friendly to other dogs, either,

so it was very unusual.

3歳の男の子「ジャスパー」くん！

飼い主さんによると

ジャスパーくんは大の犬嫌い。

ウチの犬達も犬嫌い。

でも、なぜか3人は顔を寄せて

クンクンしたのにはびっくり。

Took part in 

Darkness into Light 2021

in the treacherous rain.

土砂降りの中、

自殺防止のチャリティ団体が

主催するイベント

Darkness into Light 2021

に参加してきた。

早朝、日の出を見に行くというものだ。

（土砂降りだったので

もちろん日の出は見れなかったが）

I was so impressed

as the beach we went to was

so packed.

So many people came out

to help the charity

in the pouring rain.

ものすごい土砂降りで

寒いのにもかかわらず、

チャリティのために

本当にたくさんの人々が参加していた。

アイルランド人の慈善精神に

改めて感心した。

Cold Spring during the Lockdown in 2021

 

I was lazy again--I didn't write anything for a month😱

It is a bit difficult to get motivated as

everyday is more or less the same.

またまた1ヶ月近くブログを放置していた😱

ロックダウンはいいわけだが、

毎日毎日同じことの繰り返しで

ブログを書くようなことも起こらない。

　However, I'm grateful that

the doggies are enjoying their life.

ただ、犬達が比較的元気なので

ありがたい。

I'm growing them indoors

and they smell so nice.

去年友人にもらった撫子の花。

屋内で育てているが

とてもいい香りがする。

聖なる井戸の水を

シローにかける夫。

It's been so cold this spring.

I can't even enjoy gardening...　

The vegetable garden is looking very sad.

それにしても今年の春は本当に寒い。

趣味のガーデニングもあまり楽しめない。

家庭菜園はほぼ全滅だし。
