We left Malmö for Travemünde on Tuesday morning.
火曜日にマルメ港を出てトラーヴェミュンデに向かった。
Good bye Malmö.
さようなら、マルメ。
We booked a dog friendly cabin.
犬も入れる客室を予約してあった。
Shiro loves using a lift.
シローは何故かエレベーターが大好き。
We met a Swedish family
who have a Japanese spitz called "Wilson".
One of the children said to our dogs:
"Many Wilsons!".
Unfortunately Wilson is not going to Germany with them.
「ウィルソン君」という日本スピッツを飼っているという
スウェーデン人一家に話しかけられた。
お子さんの一人が私達の犬を見て
「ウィルソンがいっぱいいる！」と言った（笑）。
ウィルソン君はスウェーデンでお留守番。

As we used Finnlines, a finish company,
there is a sauna on the ferry.
I used it and loved it!
フィンランドのフェリー会社を使用したので
何とフェリー内にサウナがある。
折角なので入ってみたが気持ち良かった。
After we arrived at Travemünde, we drove westward
and stayed the night in a village called Groß Meckelsen.
ドイツに到着後は西に向かい
その夜はグロース・メッケルゼンという村で一泊した。
Welcome present from the hotel is Haribo :-)

The next morning we drove further west and
stopped at Bremen for a brief sightseeing.
翌日ホテルをチェックアウト後、
更に西に進みブレーメンで少し観光。
The Town Hall (Unesco World Heritage).
ユネスコ世界遺産の１つである市庁舎。
The statue of Roland.
ローラント像。
St. Peter's Cathedral.
The Musicians of Bremen.
ブレーメンの音楽隊。
Shiro is very interested in the Musicians of Bremen soft toy.
(And we bought one for him.)
ブレーメンの音楽隊ぬいぐるみに興味津々のシロー。
（結局お買い上げ。）
Drove further west and had a Burger King lunch in Oldenburg.
更に西に進みオルデンブルクのバーガーキングでランチ。
Kept driving westward, crossed border to the Netherlands,
and drove towards the north coast
as my husband wanted to see a causeway in an artificial lake
called "Afsluitdijk".
昼食後更に西に向かってオランダとの国境を越え、
それから北の海岸線に向かった。
夫がアイセル湖という人工湖にある「締め切り大堤防」
を見たいというからだ。
The dogs had a swim in Kornwerderzand.
犬達はコルンウェルデルザントというところでひと泳ぎ。
We got a ferry from Hook of Holland to Harwich in England.
We stayed over night on the ferry.
This time we couldn't take the dogs to the cabin,
but we could watch them on the TV monitor in the cabin.
そしてフーク・ファン・ホラントからイギリスのハリッジまでの
フェリーで１泊した。
このフェリーの客室に犬を連れていくことはできないが、
ケンネルにいる犬達を客室のテレビのモニターで見ることができた。
Then from Harwich, we drove all the way to Holyhead
to catch a boat to Dublin.
そしてハリッジからホリーヘッドまでイギリスを横断し
ダブリン行きのフェリーに乗った。
It was a long, long journey but quite interesting.
長い旅であったが面白かった。
But I found it scary to drive in Germany...
でもドイツで運転するのは怖い。
In Dublin, we took the dogs for a walk in Sandymount
on the way from Dublin port to our house.
Then we met a lovely lovely Japanese spitz!
ダブリン港から自宅の途中にある
Sandymountに寄って犬達を散歩に連れ出した。
そこでとてもお茶目な日本スピッツと遭遇！
The funny thing is, in the past we went to Spain, France and Germany
for summer holiday to enjoy the sun,
but this holiday in Sweden was the hottest and sunniest summer holiday
we've ever had.
太陽を求めた夏の休暇にスペイン、フランス、ドイツに
行ってきたが、
今回のスウェーデンでの休暇が一番暑くて夏らしい休暇であった。
変な話だが。
I would love to go back again.
