Leaving Osaka....

My short stay in Osaka is coming to an end.

I am flying back to Dublin this evening.

The weather has been very agreeable.

It is always very difficult to say good by to my home town.

短い大阪滞在も今日でお終い。

今晩ダブリンに向けて出発。

こちらに来る前の週間天気予報では雨も降るようだったが、

結局、傘は１度も使う必要はなく、暖かくて嬉しかった。

年老いた親を残して日本を離れるのはいつも辛い。

In Osaka

I'm in Osaka at the moment.

It's a short visit, just to see my family.

昨日から、大阪に帰国中。

家族に会うための弾丸帰国。

I went to Tennoji to do a (small scale) "bakugai".

小規模「爆買い」をするために天王寺に出向いた。

My husband took a day off today to look after our prince & princess.

今日、犬達の面倒を見るために夫は有給を取った（ちょっと極端！？）

It was so sunny that the doggies are shining in the photos.

いいお天気だったので犬達に日光が反射している。

Made a jam using soft sharon fruits (kaki).

柔らかくなってしまった柿でジャムを作った。

Killiney Hill

I took the doggies to Killiney Hill.

I try taking them somewhere nice

when the weather is dry and I have some free time.

今日はKilliney Hillに犬達と出かけた。

犬達が元気な間は、お天気が良くて時間がある時には

できるだけ楽しいお出かけをするように心がけている。

Sandymount Strand

My husband is in London for work today.

As he is going to meet his sister who lives in London alone,

I made another brack and some rice crispie squares for her yesterday.

夫が出張でロンドンに行った。

今ロンドンに単身赴任中の夫の妹に会う予定なので、

妹のためにブラックをもう一つとライスクリスピースクエアを作った。

In the morning, I went to Sandymount Strand with the doggies for a walk.

It was windy, but sunny and lovely.

今日の午前中は犬達とSandymount Strandに行った。

風が強かったがいいお天気で気持ち良かった。

As we walked past our car,

Miffy stopped and waited.

"But we're not going home yet!"

途中で私の車の近くを通ったら、

ミッフィーは乗る気満々で待ち始めた。

「まだもうちょっと散歩続けるよ！」

While walking on the strand,

three air force planes were circling around in the sky.

海岸を歩いていると

空軍の飛行機が３機何度も何度も旋回していた。

I just noticed there is still a spot in the photos.

I brought the camera in for a repair to fix this problem this year....

青空をバックにした写真で気付いたが、

また黒い点が出ている。

この問題を解決するために今年カメラ屋さんで

サービスしてもらったばかりなのに...。

A Trip to the North & Cabinteely Park

As the value of Sterling Pound has dropped a lot recently,

we decided to take an advantage of this and went to the North

to do some shopping.

英ポンドが急落したので、

それを利用して北アイルランドにショッピングに出かけた。

I'm supposed to go to a party this weekend,

I needed to buy a pair of party shoes.

今週末はヨットクラブで行われる

夫の従兄弟のバースデイパーティに行くことになっているので、

パーティー用の靴が必要である。

They were very cheap....

凄く安かった...。

And of course we visited Sainsbury and 

bought a lot of food as well.

もちろん、セインズベリーにも寄って

食材もたくさん買い込んだ。

We went out for a walk in Loughbrickland with the doggies.

Loughbricklandという場所で犬と散歩もした。

うさぎに興味津々。

On Sunday we went to Cabinteely Park.

日曜日はCabinteely Parkへ。

Cabinteely Park

I took the doggies to Cabinteely Park.

今日も犬達をCabinteely Parkへ散歩に連れて行った。

 The doggies are in the shade :-((

犬達真っ暗（涙）。

Today I baked a tea brack.

It is a tradition for this time of the year.

I didn't use a lining paper so it got stuck to the baking tin :-((

今日はバーンブラックを焼いた。

ハロウィン時期の恒例行事。

今回はベーキングシートを使わなかったので

ケーキが焼き型にくっついて形が崩れてしまった（涙）。

But it is tasty.
