St. Patrick's Day

17 March is St. Patrick's Day,

a national holiday in Ireland to celebrate the patron saint.

We went to Osaka castle to see the Patrick's Day's parade. 

We couldn't see the parade as we were a bit late,

but we still were able to enjoy the atmosphere. 

3月17日はセントパトリックスデイ。

大阪城公園で行われるパレードを見に行った。

駐車場が満車だったので、

車を停める場所を探すのに時間がかかり、

パレードを見ることはできなかった。

しかし、その後の余韻を楽しむことはできた。

ティペラリー出身のマークさんがセントパトリック役。

Our dogs were patriotic, too as they're Irish Japanese spitz!

Decorated with an Irish flag and shamrocks.

アイルランド生まれの犬達も勿論参加。

ミッフィーは国旗、シローはシャムロックをつける。

 

The plum blossoms have past their peak, but still looking nice.

 梅は満開を過ぎた。

パレードは見過ごしたけど、

本場での3月17日ではあり得ない暖かさで、

私個人としては嬉しかった。
