Day Trip to Belfast

The first Monday of August is a bank holiday.

Our friend Jonathan asked us if we would be 

interested in going to Belfast, and we said 'Yes', of course.

8月の第一月曜は祝日だ。

クレアと子供達がまだフランスにいるので、

ジョナサンがベルファーストにGeocachingに行こう、

と提案したので犬達と行って来た。

First, we stopped at Banbridge, Co. Down,

 as Jonathan wanted to take a photo of a statue of 

Francis Crozier, who is allegedly one of his maternal ancestors.

(However, I had never heard about him before...)

ベルファーストに行く途中で、

The first thing we did in Belfast is to have lunch!

It was an enjoyable trip, though 

I couldn't find a nice dress I wanted to buy.

(I only bought a crochet magazine.)

I like Northern Ireland.

夫とジョナサンがGeocaching中に

今月出席する結婚式に着るための

ドレスを買いたかったが、不発に終る。

結局編み物の雑誌だけ購入（笑）。

でも楽しかった！

北アイルランド大好き。
