Dublin Spitz Doubles

My husband sent me photos he took on Killiney Hill

when he was out for a walk with our doggies.

They encountered another pair of Japanese spitzes,

Kubla and Cosmo!

ダブリンの夫から写メールが来た。

Killiney Hillで散歩中、

2匹のスピッツ（KublaちゃんとCosmoちゃん）

に遭遇したという。

（羨ましい〜〜）

  I have never seen 4 spitzs together at the same time.

3匹以上のスピッツを一緒に見た事がないので、

この白モフ満載の写真はかわい過ぎ！

Azalea Festival in Sakai

My husband's gone back to Ireland.

I'm on my own in Japan right now.

 夫はアイルランドに帰ってしまった。

今、大阪で一人を満喫（？）。

I went to see Azalea Festival in Asakayama, Sakai.

It's not very far from my parents' house,

but I hadn't been there before.

実家からは結構近いのだが、

今までに1度も行った事のない

浅香山浄水場のツツジを

1人で見に行った。

And the photo my husband sent me from Ireland.
そして夫がアイルランドから送ってくれた写真。

I miss my dogs....

Arima Hot Spring Resort

Visited Arima Onsen in Hyogo,

to see my Irish friend's mother-in-low

(her husband is Japanese) 

in a nursing home.

She's 90 but looks 70,

very healthy, clear and smart.

I was very impressed.

アイルランド人の友人の

お姑さんに会いに有馬温泉に行って来た。

（友人のご主人は日本人。）

今お姑さんは90歳でケアハウスにおられる。

最初にお会いした時は

余りにも若くてお美しく、

言葉も頭もはっきりされておられて感動した。

私も90歳まで行きていたら

あのようでありたいと思わずにはいられない。

After having an enjoyable time with her,
we had to try one of the onsens.
その後は勿論温泉に入った。

Kyoto - Fushimi Inari

My husband had been pestering me, saying

"I want to go to shrine with thousands of red gates in Kyoto".

Finally we did it!

長年夫は

「神社の鳥居が何千もある京都の神社に行きたい！」

と言い続けてたが、今日やっと実現した。 

 This shrine is closely associated with foxes,

especially white foxes.

looks like a Japanese spitz:-))

おキツネ様、特に白いキツネと

深い縁のある神社で、

白狐の写真が置いてあったが、

何だか日本スピッツに似てる気がした。

Taipei -- 4 Last Day

Last day in Taiwan.

1. Visit to Taipei 101,
the 3rd tallest building in the world.
(The tallest in Far East Asia.)
世界で3番目に高いビルTaipei 101を訪問。

 
2. Visit to Astoria Café,
the 1st Western style cafe in Taiwan.
Had a a cold longan tea. (Longan is a delicious local fruit)
a millefeuille.

亡命ロシア人により作られた、

台湾で最初の西洋式の喫茶店

明星咖啡館を訪問。
リュウガン茶とミルフィーユを頂いた。

Taipei -- 3 Spitz Encounter!

Today was a day for welfare.

今日のテーマは癒し。

1. Massage at 元氣養生會館.

It was very good. I highly recommend it.

元氣養生會館でマッサージ。

とてもよかった！

2. Lunch at La Pasta.

La Pastaでランチ。久々のイタリアン。

3. Went to Beitou and had a bath at SweetMe Hotspring Resort.

新北投に行き水美溫泉會館で温泉体験。

 地熱谷

 

But, the biggest source of my happiness today was, 

seeing a Japanese spitz!!

でも、今日一番の癒しの素は

日本スピッツとの遭遇！！
私にとっても懐いてくれた！

I could not get the doggie's name

as I do not speak Chinese.

言葉が通じないので名前が聞けなくて残念。

日本より暖かい台湾では

多くの犬達がもう既にサマーカットしている。

1. Purchasing Dong Ding Oolong Tea

凍頂烏龍茶を購入  

2. National Palace Museum

国立故宮博物院 

 3 Lunch at Silks Palace

Silks Palaceで昼食

4. Climbing Maokong Hill with a cable car

ケーブルカーに乗って猫空に登った

5. Tea at PLC Tavern at Maokong Hill

6. Dinner at Umeko Restaurant

梅子餐廰で夕食

台湾原住民博物館の側の公園で見た看板。

英語での注意が何かカワイイ。

犬達の世話をしてくれている義父からメール。

シローもミッフィーも元気だと聞いて安心！

シローは私たちが日本に旅行中に

1度義父宅から脱走事件を起こしたから心配だったけど、

その時に迷子になったトラウマからか

もうそんなことはしなくなったようでよかった。

We're in Taiwan!

This is my first time.

台湾にやって来た！

今回が初めてだ。

I can't get over how many mopeds are on the road.

原付自動車の数の多さに圧倒されている。

Osaka Mint Cherry Blossom Viewing

I'm in Osaka, Japan now on an annual trip home.

For the first time since we left last May.

今大阪に帰省中。

昨年の5月にアイルランドに戻ってから初めての日本。

Went to Osaka Mint to do "Cherry Blossom Viewing".

大阪造幣局の桜の通り抜けを体験。

Then we visited the garden of "Fujita Museum of Art" nearby.

その後旧藤田邸庭園を訪問。
