While Shiro is making a good recovery from his leg surgery,
Miffy went through a different type of surgery last week.
She had a gum disease and had to have 9 tooth taken out....
シローが足の手術から順調に回復する一方で、
ミッフィーが先週別のことで手術をした。
歯周病が悪化し、歯を9本も抜いたのだ（涙）。
The vet assured me that dogs can cope even with no tooth,
and it's not our fault she developed this problem
because she is probably genetically prone to this disease.
獣医さんは、犬は歯がなくてもちゃんと食べることができるし、
ミッフィーの歯茎の問題も遺伝性のもので、
飼い主である私たちのせいではないとなだめてくれた。
Yes, indeed, she already had very brown teeth
when we adopted her
and I did my best to look after her teeth, but
I feel like a failure as a dog owner....
確かに、ミッフィーを動物愛護団体から引き取った際に、
すでに歯は真っ茶色だったし、
私なりに一生懸命歯のお手入れもしてあげたつもりだ。
でも、飼い主として失格の烙印を押された気分....。
She's already back to her normal self.
手術後一週間以上経つのでもう元気。

I already used soy beans to make miso.
Adzuki beans are for "Shiruko".
豆三種購入。
大豆は手作り味噌に使った。
あずきはお汁粉を作る予定。
