10th May is my husband's birthday.
(The same with Bono's....)
5月10日は夫の誕生日。
（ちなみにU2のボノも。）
We went to Intercontinental Hotel for dinner that night.
その日はインターコンチネンタルホテルで夕食。
It was disappointing....
I only enjoyed the dessert.
The service was bad, and the food was bad.
When I booked the table, I mentioned we'd be celebrating
my husband's birthday and asked them to
bring a cake with birthday wishes.
That didn't happen....
がっかりであった。
デザートのケーキは美味しかったけど、
それ以外はイマイチであった。
何よりもサービスが良くなかった！
（レストランが空いているのに
スタッフがいなくてお客さんが待たされていた。）
テーブルを予約した際、夫の誕生日なので
メッセージを入れたケーキをお願いしておいたのに、
それもなかったし。
The halibut I had for the main (very tasteless).
メインに食べたオヒョウ（美味しくなかった）。
On 12th, Eurovision Song Contest's semi-final was held.
Ireland didn't qualify, unfortunately,
though I thought Nicky Byrne (former Westlife)
did very well.
１２日にはユーロヴィジョンソングコンテストの準決勝が
ストックホルムで行われた。
アイルランドからは元ウェストライフのニッキー・バーンが
参加したが残念ながら決勝には進めなかった。
And we bought a (second hand) car.
My husband's work requires a lot of driving now,
so we need 2 cars now.
そして中古車を１台購入。
（日本から輸入された中古車。）
夫が仕事で国内を色々運転する機会が増えたので
もう１台車が必要だと判断したからだ。
I also bought some flowers for the garden.
そしてやっと春らしくなってきたので
庭に飾るお花を買った。
