The Tops of Longford and Meath

Still continuing our mission to conquer 

the highest point of every county in Ireland.

アイルランドのすべての県の

一番高い場所を制覇するという

挑戦はまだ続いている。

We tackled the 2 of the easiest ones 

with the doggies today.

今日は、短くて比較的平坦な

もの2つを片付けた。

 The Top of Longford:

The dolmen in Aughnacliffe.

 There are a few passage graves on the top.

頂上にはいくつかの羨道墳がある。

We saw a rainbow on our way today.

車の中から虹が見えた。

We have conquered 6 counties so far.

これで6つの県を制覇。

9th January is Shiro's birthday.

He's 12 today.

1月9日はシローの誕生日。

今日で12歳。

The Top of Carlow/Wexford

On Sunday, we conquered the summit of Mount Leinster,

which is a shared highest point of 

Carlow & Wexford.

日曜は、レンスター山の頂上に行った。

この頂上はカーロウ県とウェックスフォード県

の境にあるので両方の頂上を同時に制覇した。

The walk was too long for the old doggies to walk,

so we let them wait in the car while we were tackling the mountain.

老犬達には距離が長すぎたので、

犬達には車の中で待っててもらった。

The Top of Kildare

We conquered another highest point of a county

in Ireland today--

we went to the top of Cupidstown Hill.

今日はキルデア県の一番高い頂上を制覇した。

Cupidstown Hill の頂上である。

Having said that, 

it's a very mild walk and

it's about 1.1 km from the car park 😅

とは言っても、

非常にゆるい坂道で、

駐車場から1.1kmしか離れていない 😅

The doggies were so happy in the field at the top.

Shiro, especially, was so excited that

he was running around, jumping up and down.

It reminded me of when he was a puppy.

犬達は頂上の野原で本当に大喜びしていた。

特にシローは、走り回ったり飛び回ったりして、

パピーの頃を思い出してちょっと胸がキュンとなった。

Bought a Robert Welch frying pan and

a sauce pan in after Christmas sale!

I bought a smaller one last year,

and I like it so much so that

I feel like I have to collect them all!

去年小さなフライパンを購入したのだが、

本当に気に入ってしまったので、

これは全シリーズ揃えなければ！

と密かに野望を抱いている。

We saw a gray squirrel while going for a walk in the park.

今朝の公園で散歩でリスを目撃した。

Shiro kept barking at the squirrel😢

シローはリスに吠え続けた😢

I was able to set up an Android tablet

as a second monitor for my macbook pro.

This will make my translation work a bit easier.

アプリを購入して Android タブレットを

　macbook pro の２つ目のモニターとして

使えるように設定した。

これで翻訳の仕事が少しやりやすくなりそうだ。

The doggies are sleeping & relaxing in the sunroom.

2 for 1

The first walk of 2019 is to Killiney Hill.

2019年の初散歩は Killiney Hill で。

Then we encountered 2 Japanese spitzes!

そこで別々に２匹の日本スピッツに遭遇！

First, 2-year-old girl called Sotty.

まず、2歳の女の子ソティーちゃん。

Shiro said hello to Sotty's mum.

シローはソティーちゃんの飼い主さんにご挨拶。

Then, 4-year-old girl called Luna.

そして4歳の女の子ルナちゃん。

It's my first time to see 2 different spitzes in 1 walk.

1度の散歩で2匹の別々のスピッツに会うのは初めて！

Great way to start 2019.

inviting a small number of friends.

Some Events During the Last Few Days

Drove up to the North on 27th.

27日は北アイルランドまでドライブ。

Conquered the summit of Slieve Gullion,

the highest point of County Armagh.

まず、Slieve Gullion の山頂まで行った。

アマー県で一番高い場所を制覇。

Then we drove to The Boulevard, an Outlet in Banbridge.

それから Banbridge のアウトレットで買い物。

What I bought:

Denby teapot.

Christy towels.

Christy のタオルセット。

Went exploring nearby field on 29th.

29日は近所の野原を探検。

Went out for a walk in Monkstown on 30th.

30日は Monkstown で散歩。

It's been unusually warm for this time of the year.

今の時期に珍しく暖かい日が続いている。
