A Little Walk on the Green

I have not been feeling very well for the past couple of days,

but a walk with the doggies gives me a chance to enjoy fresh air.

家からそう遠くない野原で犬達と散歩。

ここのところ体調が良くないが新鮮な空気に

当たるいいチャンス。

Shiro was a bit intimidated by bigger dogs.

ちょっと大きめの犬にシローは緊張気味（笑）。

The Grand Canal

Our journey to search for a stove is till continuing.

This week we went to a stove shop in Maynooth.

ストーブを探す旅はまだ続く。

今週はMaynoothにあるストーブ専門店へ行った。

Then my husband wanted to do Geocaching in the Grand Canal.

(It's called Grand Canal though it's not reaaly "grand".)

そして夫はグランド・カナルという

Maynoothの近くにある運河でGeocachingをしたいと主張。

My husband & Shiro went into the water!!

夫とシローは運河に入って泳いだ！！

My husband swam to the other side.

Shiro gave up and came back.

The doggies were staring at him.

夫は対岸まで泳ぎ、

シローは途中で引き返して来た。

犬達は対岸の夫をガン見（笑）。

Impulsive Purchases

 Today I bought 2 things out of impulse.

今日は久しぶりに衝動買いをしてしまった。

A pot of Calceolaria.

カルセオラリアの鉢植え。

An iron kettle called "Rikyu".

「利休」という名の鉄瓶（笑）。

 I had been looking for an iron kettle 

since I bought some tea in Taiwan.

台湾で中国茶を買ってから、

鉄瓶がずっと欲しかった。

The dogs had to go back to the vet for vaccination.

And Shiro had his stitches removed.

犬達は予防接種のために再度獣医に行った。

シローは一緒に抜糸もしてもらった。

Having a happy time before going to the vet.

St. Anne's Park, Raheny

For the last day of the 3 day weekend,

my husband insisted we should do something exciting

other than tidying up the new house.

So off went we to St. Anne's Park in Raheny

with a picnic basket.

３連休の最終日には

新居の片付け以外のことがやりたい！

と夫が主張するので、

Rahenyにある聖アンズ公園に

ピクニック持参で行って来た。

Too early for roses.

The Rose Festival will be on a few weeks later.

 寒いアイルランドではバラは夏の花である。

有名なバラ園のバラはまだあまり咲いていなかった。

バラ祭は6月半ばに行われる。

Greystones

We went to see a stove shop in Greystones on Sunday.

As our new house has no fireplace,

we need to install a stove before winter.

新居には暖炉がないので、

冬が来る前にストーブを買う必要があるので、

Greystonesにあるストーブの店に行った。

Of course we also took the doggies out 

for a walk in Delgany

勿論ついでにDelganyで犬の散歩もした。

犬は残念ながら入れない。

So we went out to the doggies' favourite place, 

Three Rock Mountains

after I finished my work.

 

シローがかなり元気になってきたので

私の仕事が終った後

犬達の大好きな場所、

Three Rock Mountainsに行って来た。

Bloom

Went to Bloom, a garden exhibition event in Phoenix Park

on Thursday, the first day with Claire.

The weather wasn't great, unfortunately,

but that didn't stop us enjoying the event.

今年も友人のクレアと

Bloomというガーデニングのイベントのため

フェニックス公園に行って来た。

 お天気は悪かったが、

それでも楽しい時間を過ごせた。
