Top of Derry and Tyrone

We tackled Sawel, the highest mountain in the Sperrin Mountains area.

Sawel is the highest point in Co. Derry and Co. Tyrone

昨日は Sawel 山に登った。

山頂はデリー県とティローン県の１番高い場所だ。

We added 2 more counties on the list.

Derry City

On the 1st full day in the North,

we visited Derry City.

2日目はデリーの街を観光。

The city is surrounded by the old walls.

街は古い塀で取り囲まれている。

However, the mural we were mostly interested in 

is--Derry Girls Mural.

しかしながら今回デリーに来た大きな理由の一つは、

この壁画である--「Derry Girls」。

It has become such a phenomenon

since it aired last year.

去年 TV で初めて放映されてから

ものすごい人気である。

With the wee Japanese spitz.

After that, we had lunch at Derry city's

only dog friendly restaurant--The Warehouse No. 1 Cafe.

昼食はデリー市内で唯一の

で食べた。

In the evening, we had a birthday meal at

The Sooty Olive.

誕生日ディナーは The Sooty Olive で。

The food was absolutely lovely,

but the service was a bit slow.

食事はとっても美味しかったが、

サービスがちょっと遅かった。

Had a lovely birthday.

Birthday Trip to the North 1

Last year we went to England for my birthday.

This year, we decided to go to Northern Ireland

before Brexit takes effect....

去年は私の誕生日にイングランドに行ったが、

今年はイギリスが EU 離脱する前に

北アイルランドに行くことにした。

The weather was mixed and 

there was a rainbow (though difficult to see).

The Top of Kilkenny

We resumed our project of conquering county tops.

Today we reached the top of Brandon Hill,

the highest point of Co. Kilkenny.

今週末はアイルランドの県の最高峰を

制覇するプロジェクトを再開。

今日はキルケニーの頂上に到達した。

It was horribly windy and cold at the top.

頂上はものすごく強風で寒かった。

It was so windy that I could barely keep standing.

風が強すぎて立っていることもできないほどだった。

My husband did Geocaching at the top.

強風の中でも夫は Geocaching。

After this, we went to Graiguenamanagh,

and had picnic lunch beside the River Barrow.

その後 Graiguenamanagh に行き、

Barrow 川沿いでピクニックの昼食。

 Miffy is staring at my sandwich 😅

Lunch Outing

I met a Japanese friend for lunch yesterday.

I hadn't seen her for a long time,

so we had a lovely chat.

1年以上会ってなかった

日本人のお友達に会ってランチ。

久々だったので会話も弾んで楽しかった。

I had a hamburger.

私はハンバーガーを食べた。

Shiro was doing something suspicious

in the flowerbed 😅

On Friday I had no work

so I took the doggies to their favourite place.

金曜は仕事が久々になかったので

犬達の大好きな森に連れて行った。

On Saturday we purchased a car

which I had wanted to own for years!!

We traded in the Nissan Note we had.

土曜日にはずーっと欲しかった

車をついに購入！！

3年前に買った日産ノートを下取りに出した。

We can be more environmental friendly from today!

今日から更に環境に優しくなれる！

Daffodils and Crocs (Not Crocus)

It was very sunny and warm yesterday,

so I decided to take some photos of the doggies

in a lovely spot near our house.

昨日は暖かくてとてもいいお天気だったので、

家の近くにある水仙がいっぱい咲いている場所で

犬達の写真撮影を行うことにした。

playing with my crocs in our garden...

今日は家の庭で

私のクロックスでいたずらしている

I can't leave my crocs on the floor even for a second.

一瞬でもクロックスを床に置いて

どこかへ行くとこの有様😭
