Spring!

I wrote that February is the beginning of spring in Ireland,

but in reality, March is the beginning of spring.

Daffodils are lovely in the fields.

以前、アイルランドでは2月から春だと書いたが、

やはり実際は3月が春の始まりだと思う。

野原に水仙が咲いている。

I bought a kumquat tree in Aldi last week.

Very rare to see this in Ireland.

先週ドイツ系格安スーパーAldiで

キンカンの木を購入。

アイルランドではキンカンの実は売ってないので

何とか頑張って育てて毎年収穫できれば嬉しいが。

I've been studying quite hard to prepare for

a big (difficult) work next week.

I haven't studied like this since 2012

when I took a French language exam in Japan.

Shiro has been a moral support.

He makes sure to lie down near me in the study,

and stay there while I'm studying.

来週ちょっと大変な仕事が入っているので、

そのための準備で今一生懸命勉強している。

こんなに勉強するのは、

2年前に日本でフランス語検定を受けた時以来だ。

書斎で勉強していると

シローが必ず一緒に来てずっと側にいてくれる。

見守ってくれているのか。

そして今日は眠りながら

足をカサカサと動かしていた。

野原で駆け回っている夢でも見てたのかな（笑）。
