Rainbow

We had all the four seasons in a day today

(which is not unusual in Ireland).

As a result, there was a rainbow.

今日は1日で四季を体験。

（アイルランドでは珍しくないが。）

そのお陰で虹が出た。

I made komquat jam today.

そして今日は金柑のジャムを作った。

Went to Northern Ireland (yet again) by my request

as 18th is my birthday!

18日が誕生日なので、

夫によるお祝いのディナー の提案を却下し、

大好きな北アイルランドに行って来た。

in Co. Down.

で犬達と楽しい一時を過ごした。

Shiro abandoned us to become a pet of a family

who were having a picnic in the park...

シローは私達を見捨てて、

ピクニックをしている家族の

ペットにしてもらおうと

努力中（苦笑）。

Then we went to one of the Outlets and

Sainsbury for shopping (of course!).

この後は

アウトレットとセインズベリーでお買い物！

Blunder!!

11 March is the day Shiro came to live with us.

It was 8 years ago.

But we forgot to celebrate it....

3月11日はシローの「うちの子記念日」

なのにすっかり忘れていた！！

ゴメンねーシロー。

Today I took the doggies to 

the Dodder River walk.

今日はDodder川添いを散歩。

In the afternoon, they relaxed in the sunny garden.
午後はお庭で日向ぼっこ。

 I still remember the time I picked you up
for the first time, Shiro.

初めて抱っこした時の事を
今でもはっきり覚えてるよ、シロー。

Spring Cleaning!

I washed the doggies!!

They should be cleaner!!

 

犬達を洗ってみた！！

キレイになっている筈！！

The stuff in the sun room behind the dogs

are very untidy--this needs spring cleaning definitely....

引っ越した後の片付いてない荷物が

犬達の後ろに見える...。

これもきれいにしなきゃね...。

The world's prestigeous dog competions, Crufts,

is taking place in England.

One of the contestants is Bundy, the Japanese spitz,

whose owners are originally from Ireland.

Go for it, Bundy!!

 イギリス最大のドッグショウ、クラフツが

今開催されている。

参加犬の中に、オーナーさんがアイルランド出身の

日本スピッツ「バンディちゃん」が

新聞に写真入りで紹介されている。

頑張れ〜〜。

Happiness in Hardship (?)

My husband is in England for work.

The doggies are not very happy.

夫がイギリスに出張中。

犬達は不満（不安？）そう。

Shiro insists he should wait for

my husband in the windy garden. 

Kind of cute.

シローは強風の中、

庭で夫を待つんだ！と主張。 

かわいい。

Miffy sits beside me on the floor

while I'm preparing to file for the tax.

Very cute.

確定申告と格闘中の私の隣で

お気に入りのぬいぐるみと遊ぶ。

かわいい。

made with merino wool.

House Project 1

I bought a dressing table with the money

my father gave me as a housewarming gift.

家を買ったお祝いに父から貰った

お金でやっとドレッサーを購入した。

It's for my dressing room :-))

私の小さな化粧部屋用である。

 French style carving.

It's made from mahogany.

フレンチスタイルでマホガニー製。

Hopefully it will last a lifetime.

一生ものになるといいな。

Next I have my eye on a bedside lamp like this.

次はこんな感じのベッドサイドランプを買いたいな。

I'm trying to keep the house tidy,
