A Visitor from London

My husband's cousin's 15-year-old daughter 

came over from London to do internship 

with my husband's sister (a law lecturer) and her husband (a barrister),

and she's staying with us at the moment.

夫の従姉の１５歳のお嬢さんがロンドンから来てて、

今我が家に滞在中である。

大学で法律を教えている夫の妹と

法廷弁護士である夫の妹のご主人の元で

インターンシップ（就業経験）を体験するためだ。

On Sunday, we went to Killiney Hill.

日曜は一緒にKilliney Hillを散歩した。

I hope she can enjoy Dublin as well as 

gain good knowledge on work.

ダブリンをエンジョイしながら

いい仕事の体験をしてほしい。

Summer at Last (Hopefully!)

It looks like summer started yesterday!

昨日から（やっと）夏が始まったようだ！

My husband took part in Wicklow 100

and completed cycling 100 km!

夫がWicklow 100に初参加し、

自転車で100km完走した！

I gave my husband a lift to Greystones,

which is the starting point.

スタート地点のGreystonesまでは

夫を車で送った。

"I had to get up at 5.30 am to 

come to Greystones by 7!" says Miffy

ミッフィー「朝５時半に起こされちゃった！」

Today I took the doggies to Sandymount Strand.

今日は夏らしく犬たちをSandymountの海岸に連れてった。

I really hope this is the end of WINTER!

The Doggies Are Happy Again

My husband came back from Vienna.

He had a few dramas over there,

but the doggies are overjoyed to have him back!

夫がウィーンへの出張から帰ってきた。
飛行機で手荷物を盗まれたり、
iPhoneをスリに盗まれたりと、
大事件は色々ありその影響が尾を引いているが、
そんなことは関係ない犬達は夫と再会できて大喜び！

The Mischievous Shiro is back!

 シローのいたずらも復活！

Souvenirs from Vienna.
My husband, who speaks German quite well,
thought the pink box below is tiramisu flavoured biscuits....
I, who knows no German at all
but occasionally makes cakes,
knew it was for making tiramisu base....

ウィーンからのお土産。
夫はドイツ語ができるのだが、
下のピンクの箱は「ティラミス味のビスケット」
だと思ったらしい。
私はドイツ語が全くできないが、
「ティラミスの土台を作るためのビスケット」
だと一目で分かった（笑）。

On Saturday, we drove to Kilmacurragh Garden.
土曜日にはKilmacurragh Gardenに出かけた。

自宅に戻って。
シローの顔が濡れているのは、
外出中にミッフィーのオシッコが
顔にかかってしまい、洗ったからだ（苦笑）。

Getting Used to the Situation

My husband is away in Vienna for work.

His new job takes him abroad a lot.

He used to go away a lot when Shiro started to live with us.

But by the time Miffy came to live with us,

he was working in another section and didn't go away so much.

夫は再び出張でウィーンにいる。

新しい部署での仕事は海外出張が多い。

シローが我が家に来た当時も

夫は出張でよく家を空けていたが、

ミッフィーを引き取った時には違う部署に移っていて、

殆ど出張に行くことはなくなっていた。

They don't like this.

Their favourite daddy is not with us.

犬達は非常に寂しい思いをしているようだ。

Nonetheless, we try to have a good time, just 3 of us.

それでも３人で楽しく過ごそうと頑張っている。

Went outside when there was a rainbow.

虹が出たので慌てて外に行ったり。

Go to one of their favourite beaches--Monkstown.

犬達のお気に入りのビーチで散歩したり。

A few more days!

あともう少しだけ辛抱してよね！

First Day of Summer....

Well, it's freezing cold....

But at least we have a stove!

寒い。

でも、ストーブ入れれば幸せ（笑）。

Even though it's cold, flowers think it's their time of the year.

寒くても６月になれば花も咲く。

As Shiro's leg has been a bit sour for the past couple of days,

I and Miffy had a quality time together.

シローの足の調子がちょっとよくないので、

ミッフィーと２人だけでお散歩。
