Happiness in the Garden

At last the raspberry bushes started to have fruits now.

やっと今年初めてのラズベリーが生りだした。

The doggies relax in the garden.

犬達も庭でリラックス。

Back to Normal

I was very busy with work last week,

and very ill over the weekend 😭.

However, everything is back to normal now!

先週は仕事でものすごく忙しく、

週末は原因不明の体調不良で寝込んだ😭。

しかしながら、やっとすべて通常運転！

The fruit cake I baked

when I didn't know I was going to be very busy....

あんなに忙しくなるとは知らず、

呑気にフルーツケーキを焼いたりしていた。

The doggies are delighted I can play with them now.

犬達も私が仕事と病気から解放され、

一緒に遊べるので喜んでいる。

I should cook something nice,

as I couldn't do a lot of cooking last week.

先週は殆ど料理できなかったので、

何か美味しいものを作ろうと思う。

Leo the Japanese Spitz

As we ran out of my favourite rice--

one of the few "koshihikari" rices available in Ireland--,

we went to the Asian Market in Merrywell Business Park.

(The rice is a bit more expensive than common sushi rices here,

but it is worth the price difference!) 

普段食べているお米

（アイルランドで唯一買える「コシヒカリ」）が

なくなったので、アジアンマーケットに買いに行った。

（その辺のスーパーに売っているスシライスより

少々お高いが味が全然違う！）

Then we went for a walk in Corkagh Park with the doggies.

It is a big, lovely park.

その後 Corkagh Park で犬達と散歩。

大きくて中々いい公園だ。

 We met another Japanese spitz there!

4-year-old Leo!

Very cute & friendly.

そこで日本スピッツに遭遇！

4歳のレオ君！

かわいくて人懐こい。

 He has had a haircut.

レオ君サマーカット済み。

The owners said they did a search on 

what kind of dog they want 

and decided on a Japanese spitz.

飼い主さんによると

犬を飼うと決めた時に

どの犬種にするか色々とリサーチをし、

その結果日本スピッツに決めたそうだ。

And they are so happy with their decision 😄.

そしてその決定に大満足だそうだ😄。

Finish

My busy work has finished!

今週忙しかった仕事も終わった！

The doggies are waiting for me to get ready for their morning walk.

They know it normally happens after my morning shower.

犬達が朝散歩に出かけるのを待っている。

普段は私が朝のシャワーの後に行くのをちゃんと知っている。

"Are you finished, Mum?!"

「お母さん準備終わった？！」

And after their morning walk,

they explore our precious flower bed...

散歩が終わった後

犬達は私たちの大事な花壇を探検する。

"Are you finished, Doggies?!"

「犬達、もう終わった？！」

And suddenly some beautiful and 

illegal poppy flowered in our garden.

知らない間にきれいな

そして違法なケシの花が庭に咲いてしまった。

Unfortunately we need to finish them....

残念だけど処分します...。

And I hope our kitchen project will finish soon.

I'm not sure how & when we see the goal....

台所リノベーションの計画も

一体いつ終わるのか...。

Kitchen Project 1

At last our Kitchen Renovation Project has taken off!

やっとキッチン改装計画の第一歩を踏み出した！

One builder came to our house and made a hole in the kitchen floor

to check if we can install an underfloor heating system.

(And we can physically.)

大工さんが来て台所の床に穴を開けて

床下暖房システムを導入できるかどうかをチェックしてくれた。

（物理的には導入可能であった。）

However, we may not install the system

depending on the estimate of the cost we will get....

しかしながら導入の見積もりによっては

諦めなくてはいけないかも...。

The builder used the cement during the process,

and Miffy happily walked all over

and left her footprints in the living room 😅

大工さんがチェックの際に

セメントを使用したのだが

ミッフィーは早速その上を歩き回って

居間にいっぱい足跡をつけてくれた😅

We also did some kitchen showroom "crawl" on Saturday.

It was tiring, but it was worth the effort.

土曜日にはキッチンショールームを何軒かはしごした。

疲れたが色々と参考になった。

We had a picnic outdoors between the kitchen showroom visits.

キッチンショールームのはしご中でのピクニックランチ。

We spotted Abelia × grandiflora near 

one of the kitchen shops.

It has lovely scent.

はしごした店の１軒の近くに

いい香りのアベリアを見つけた。

I wouldn't mind having this in our garden.

And Another Job

This time Shiro was the digger....

I washed the doggies yesterday 😭

今度はシローがホリホリしたようだ...。

昨日犬達を洗ったばかりなのに😭

 

 

And this is today's Miffy's job:
playing with her favourite doggy.
そしてこれがミッフィーの今日のお仕事：
お気に入りの犬のぬいぐるみで遊ぶこと。

This is my job today:
making a kumquat jam (again!).
これが私のきょうの仕事：
金柑ジャム作成。

Another Job

I made another bag using Snoopy fabric.

スヌーピーの布地を使ったまたバッグを作った。

（バッグばかり作ってどうする〜〜...。）

Miffy did another job of digging....

ミッフィーもまた花壇ホリホリしたようだ。

The doggies' main job is to smile!

でも犬達の主な仕事は笑顔でいること！
