I am very busy with work,
but I try to enjoy my weekend
(this is my New Year Resolution).
仕事が（ありがたいことに）忙しい。
でも、週末はできるだけ仕事しないようにしている。
（これは新年の誓いの1つである。）
We went for furniture shopping
(we're looking for an ottoman with storage),
and were walking the doggies to the pet shop near by.
今、屋根裏に置くための
物を収納できるソファーを探していて、
家具ショップに行き、
そのついでに近くのペットショップに犬達を連れて行った。
At the car park,
Miffy's boyfriend "
Tzar" 's father talked to us,
wearing an apron.
He and his wife run a cafe there.
駐車場を歩いていると、
エプロン姿で話しかけてきた。
その駐車場の近所で奥さんとカフェを経営しているんだそうだ。
After the walk, we dropped in the cafe
(needless to say you can bring dogs in the patio seating area).
犬散歩の後、カフェに寄ってみた
（パテオでは犬達も一緒に連れて行ける）。

It was a pleasant surprise!
BTW, we didn't buy an ottoman even though
we found what we wanted in the shop.
The shop didn't have a stock and
doesn't sell an item off the floor
as it will destroy the nice interior arrangement
created by an interior designer.
But is it not a shop's job to sell goods?
They lost a sales opportunity!!
ソファーは、店でいいものを見つけたが
結局買わなかった。
店には在庫がなく展示品しかなかったのだ。
展示品でもいいと言ったのだが、
展示品はインテリアデザイナーが
色々考えて展示しているので
それを売るとデザインが台無しになるので
売れないというポリシーだそうだ。
在庫が届くのは4ヶ月先だということだ！
いや、店の商品を売るのが仕事じゃないの？？
