Daffodils and Crocs (Not Crocus)

It was very sunny and warm yesterday,

so I decided to take some photos of the doggies

in a lovely spot near our house.

昨日は暖かくてとてもいいお天気だったので、

家の近くにある水仙がいっぱい咲いている場所で

犬達の写真撮影を行うことにした。

Today I took some photos of Shiro

playing with my crocs in our garden...

今日は家の庭で

私のクロックスでいたずらしている

シローの写真を撮影...。

I can't leave my crocs on the floor even for a second.

一瞬でもクロックスを床に置いて

どこかへ行くとこの有様😭

かわいいけど。

On the Recovery from a Bad Cold

I got a cold for the first time in 3 years.

I didn't get a cold since I started taking turmeric--

anti-inflammatory spice.

I used to get a cold at least twice a year,

and that stopped 3 years ago.

But that myth didn't protect me from this bad cold....

今回3年ぶりにひどい風邪を引いてしまった。

テニス肘を3年前にやってから

毎日消炎作用のあるウコンを取っているのだが、

そのせいか毎年２度は引いていた風邪を

全く引かなくなっていたのだ。

先週までは....。

However, I am recovering from this bad cold.

しかし、その風邪もやっと治りかけている。

The weather has been very mild and sunny recently.

ここ最近いいお天気で暖かい日々が続いている。

Really grateful for these peaceful days

with the happy doggies.

犬達と幸せで穏やかな時間を過ごせることに

心から感謝。

Waterstown Park

The weather was lovely,

and so were the doggies' smile.

お天気はよかったし、

犬達の笑顔が最高だった。

The Tops of Offaly & Laois

Today we conquered the tops of 2 counties:

Offaly and Laois.

今日は2つの県の頂上を制覇：

オファリーとリーシュ。

The tops are near each other.

頂上はほとんど県境にある。

At the car park.

駐車場で。

We dropped in Kildare Village on our way home,

and I finally bought a pair of walking boots!

帰りにはキルデアヴィレッジアウトレットにより、

やっと散歩用のブーツを購入した！

St. Valentine's Day

On St. Valentine's Day,

I worked all day--nothing but 

my professional work and house chores.

今日はバレンタインデー。

1日中翻訳の仕事と家事に明け暮れた。

At least the dogs are fine,

and it was quite mild today.

犬達は元気だし暖かかったし

文句は全くない。

Presents from my husband.

夫からのプレゼント。

（毎年書いているが、

欧米ではバレンタインは男性から女性へ

物を贈る日である。）

Miffy had to be included in the photo,

as she noticed me taking photographs.

I took the doggies to Cabinteely Park in the morning.

There were beautiful crocuses.

午前中は犬達を Cabinteely Park に連れて行った。

紫のクロッカスがたくさん咲いていた。

The Top of Westmeath

Conquered the highest point of another county:

Mullaghmeen, the top of Westmeath.

今日はウェストミース県の

頂上を征服した。

As the walk is not very steep, the doggies came with us.

道のりは緩やかなので犬達も一緒に来た。

Encountered a friendly black dog.

友好的なワンちゃんに遭遇。
