2019 La Rochelle Holiday 14

After cleaning the house,

we left La Rochelle for La Roche-Bernard,

a halfway point to Roscoff.

We stayed in the same hotel in La Roche-Bernard.

宿を掃除した後、

ロスコフまでの途中に再度

ラ・ロッシュ＝ベルナールに向かった。

前回と同じホテルに止まった。

The doggies had a swim in the nearby river.

犬達は近くの川に入水。

 However, we noticed a sign which said

the water is not safe for swimming

as it is contaminated with dangerous bacteria....

しかしながらこの後、

水には危険なバクテリアが含まれているので

泳がないようにという張り紙を見たので、

大慌てで水遊びを中止した。

 There are lovely craft shops in the town.

I really love this place.

街にはかわいいハンドメイド作品を

売る店が色々ある。

私はこの街が大好きである。

 What I bought in La Roche-Bernard.

ラ・ロッシュ＝ベルナールで買ったもの。

The lady at the shop I bought the fabric

was wearing an apron with Sashiko stitches done by her.

I also noticed a Sashiko kit from Japan in the shop😀

写真の下部の布地を買った店では

日本の刺し子キットが販売されていた。

そのことを店員さんに言うと、

店員さんは着ているエプロンの刺し子デザインを

私に見せてくれた😀

The lovely restaurant at the hotel 

does not serve dinner on Monday,

so we went to a crêperie nearby.

ホテルの美味しいレストランは

月曜日は閉まっているので、

近くのクレープの店で夕飯を食べた。

I would love to come back to La Roche-Bernard again,

though this is our 4th time to visit the place.

今回で来るのは4度目だが、

もう1度来たい街である。
