A Day Out to Nagoya

大学時代の友人2人に会うために愛知県に出かけた。

We drove to Nagoya to meet my friends from college.

One of them lives in Nagoya,

and the other lives in Kanagawa, 

but her husband is from near Nagoya and

they were there for the New Year's holiday.

As all of us have pet dogs, 

we met up at a dog run called 'Dogwith'.

On the way to Nagoya, we stopped at Tsuchiyama Parking Area.

It had a lot of snow and the dogs loved it!

  Then we went to a shrine called 'Inu Jinja'. 

As Inu in Japanese means dogs, they sell charms for dogs 

and dogs are allowed in the site.

(Ordinarily they are not allowed in the sacred shrine site.)

せっかく名古屋近辺に来たので、

伊奴（いぬ）神社に寄った。

今年が後厄の夫のために、

そして犬達が安全にアイルランドに帰れるように、

お守りを買った。

アイルランドから日本に安全に来れるようにと

以前こちらで買ったお守りは

ちゃんとお返しした。

葉山、名古屋、大阪（ダブリン）と別々に住んでるけど

会うと下んない話で大笑い出来る大切な友達。

会えて本当に嬉しかった。

今度はいつ会えるかな？
