Onji, Yao City

Went out to Onji area in Yao city for my husband's Geocaching.

It was a lovely sunny warm day and

perfect for walking with the doggies.

First we went to Onji shrine.

There is a well nearby whose water is said to turn red before rain.

八尾市にある恩智に行って来た。

恩智神社の近くには雨の前には水が赤くなると言われている

閼伽井戸がある。

恩智周辺は古い家並みもある。

 There are a lot of historical sites with old houses.

Then we climbed Onji Hill.

The town still had a sign with a name of

old public phone company (Denden Kosha).

電電公社と書かれたポスター発見。

1985年からはNTTのはず...。

とってもいいお天気で

気持ちのいい1日だった。
