Big Cousins

It was a beautiful sunny morning.

So I decided to go to Killiney Hill

with my SLR camera as a revenge :-))

いいお天気の朝だったので、

犬達とキライニーの丘に登って来た。

今回はちゃんと一眼レフ持参で（笑）。

 During the photo session,

I spotted a Samoyed, the big cousin!!

写真を撮っていると、

塔の近くにサモエド発見！

日本スピッツの大きなイトコ！

There is one more!

もう1匹いた！

Aggressive Miffy...

And another one!!

更にもう1匹！！

Shiro is overwhelmed.

シローはちょっと圧倒されている（笑）。

Just before going home,

a middle aged lady asked me

"Where is the third dog?"

She thought our dogs are Samoyed.

帰る間際に中年の女性に、

「あら、もう1匹いたのにどうしたの？」

と話しかけられた。

どうやらサモエド達に間違えられた模様。

Had a lovely time.

楽しかった。

While the Sun Was Shining

We went out for a walk before the rain came.

雨が降り出す前に、犬達と散歩。

 

The daffodils have started to have buds.

水仙にもやっとつぼみがつき始めた。

Belfast Castle

My husband needed a medical check for renewing

his Cessna license, we drove up to Belfast.

夫がセスナ免許更新に必要な健康診断を受けるため、

北アイルランドのベルファーストにまたまた行って来た。

While my husband was having a medical check,

I took the doggies to Queen Mary's Garden for a walk.

夫が健康診断を受けている間、

近くにあるQueen Mary's Gardenという公園で

犬達と散歩した。

The doggies are staring at the direction

my husband disappeared into....

夫がいなくなってしまった方向が

気になって凝視し続ける犬達...。

After we reunited, we visited Belfast Castle.

夫と再会後、ベルファースト城を訪問。

According to a legend,
Belfast Castle is safe as long as there is a cat living there.
The "Cat Garden" has been created because of this legend.

猫が住んでいる限りこの城は安全だという伝説がある。
そのために、城内には「猫の庭」が設けられている。

 This reminds me of "Dog" in Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao.
この猫はビルバオのグッゲンハイム美術館にある犬を想起させる。

I can't skip visiting a supermarket in the North.

These are what I bought in Sainsbury.

北アイルランドに行くとスーパーに寄るのがノルマ。

南側では買えないものが手に入る。

Killiney Hill (Again)

It was sunny & warm again today,

but the weather forecast says it won't last long.

So I took the dogs to Killiney Hill again.

今日も暖かくていいお天気。

しかし天気予報によると明日からまた雨らしいので、

晴れの天気を楽しもうとKilliney Hillに犬達と出かけた。

 Should've brought my SLR camera.

一眼レフカメラを持って行くべきだった。

Update

I wrote about Japanese-Irish hybrid "shio koji" in October.

And this is the update.

The result was more than excellent!!

Really tasty and I think it's even tastier than the one I used in Japan.

アイルランド製の塩と日本製の麹で

作った塩麹について10月に書いたが、

今それを使っている。

メチャメチャ美味しい。

日本で使ってたのよりも美味しい！！

You just need "shio koji" and nothing else!

The weather has been very mixed.

The doggies are naturally bored.

天気は相変わらず

嵐と晴天が何か入り乱れている。

昨日は1日中大雨。

And today was sunny & warm.

そして今日は晴れて暖かかった。

Between the storms (again)....

嵐の間の晴れ間に散歩。

St. Valentine's Day

Went out for dinner to celebrate St. Valentine's Day at

Shanai Indian Cuisine Restaurant.

ヴァレンタインデイに夫とディナー。

The doggies are getting really friendly with each other.

They used to refuse to be on the bed together,

now they don't mind it at all.

犬達もどんどん仲良しになってきている。

以前はベッドの上に一緒にいることを拒否してたのに、

今は一緒にいることが多くなっている。

I made the pink Aran jumper years ago.

Very warm and one of my favourites.

手前のピンクのアランセーターは

数年前に自分で作った。温かくてお気に入り。

And that night, Shiro slept like a human

between us on the bed:-))

そしてその夜、

シローは人間みたいに仰向けに

私たちの間で寝ていた（笑）。

Just Great

Got it from a friend.

友人から頂いた。

Japanese oolong tea made in USA.

And the doggies are closer than ever!

そして犬達も大接近！！

Made me feel so happy!

Between (and in the Middle of) Storms

The weather has been still unstable.

It was sunny yesterday morning so I took the dogs to

Cabinteely Park.

お天気は相変わらず不安定。

昨日の午前中は晴れてたので

Cabinteely Parkに出かけた。

The dogs monopolised the dog run.

ドッグランは他に誰もいなくて犬達が独占。

It got stormy at night (again).

But the dogs had to go out (of course).

夜は再び嵐になったが、

犬達はそんなことは気にもしない。

レインコート着用で散歩に出発。

 You can't take the walrus out for a walk, Shiro.

シロー、セイウチは置いて行こうね。

Have Fun

The weather has been very mixed for the past couple of days in Dublin.

Stormy weather and sunny weather kind of alternate.

嵐とその合間の晴天が交互に続く、

ヘンなお天気がここ数日ダブリンでは続いている。

Yesterday morning in Killiney Hill. (Very stormy)

昨日の朝、夫を駅まで送った後Killiney Hillで。

嵐の中で散歩。

This morning was sunny and nice.

今朝はいいお天気だった。

And it got stormy in the afternoon.

午後から大嵐。

Naturally I was a bit reluctant to go out for the evening walk.

But the dogs put pressure on me.

It's kind of cute.

嵐の中、夜の散歩に行くのを

延ばし延ばしにしている私に

プレッシャーをかける犬達。

Eventually we went out in the storm....

結局短時間だけど嵐の中散歩に行った（笑）。

We have to have fun no matter what :-))

River Dodder Walk

Unlike yesterday, the second day of spring was

sunny and warm and very spring-like :-))

So we went out for a walk along the river Dodder.

暦の上での春の第2日目は

まるで春のように暖かかった（笑）。
