Summer Holiday in Basque 8 -- Le Petit Train de la Rhune

Today was my highlight of on this holiday.

We went on "the little train" to one of the summit

of the Pyrénées, La Rhune!

今日は今回の旅行の私にとっての山場！

列車に乗ってピレネー山脈の山の頂上に行ったのだ。

To tell the truth, we wanted to do it yesterday

but we got up too late 

and when we arrived at the station,

there were too many people and we gave up.

本来は昨日やるはずだったのだが、

朝寝坊してしまい、

駅に着いた時はものすごい行列ができていたので

諦めたのだった。

Furthermore, we have climbed this mountain before,

instead of using the train!

This is my blog entry about the marmot toy

we bought at that time.

更に言うと、この山には

電車を使わずに以前登ったことがあった。

その時に買ったマーモットのぬいぐるみに関しては

以前ブログに書いた。

Then we visited a vet,

as the doggies need a tablet for tapeworms

before leaving France.

その後、獣医に行き

犬達は条虫用の薬を飲んだ。

フランスを出る前に必要な手続きである。

Then we went on a drive and saw 

Le château de Bidache.

そしてドライブをして

Le château de Bidacheを外から見た。

And visited Le Château de Mauléon.

そしてLe Château de Mauléonを見学した。
