Beautiful Things in Life

Since I came back from Japan

where it was much sunnier and warmer than here,

I have been slightly under the weather.

先週日本から戻ってきて以来、

少し疲れている。

時差ボケもあるが、

暖かくて食べ物が美味しい日本から

寒いアイルランドに戻って来たこともあり、

少々気分が沈んでいる。

However, we can always find 

something beautiful in life.

しかし、日々の生活の中で

気分を明るくするものを見つけることは

それほど難しいことではない。

I took this photo in the attic

where I do my craft work.

Shiro doesn't normally come up to the attic,

but this time he managed to do it!

この写真はソーイングなどをする

屋根裏部屋で撮った。

シローは屋根裏部屋には何故か怖がって

来ることはほとんどないのだが、

この日は私に会いに来てくれた。
