We had about a week of

very hot days in July,

but after that,

the weather never really recovered.

Nonetheless, we enjoyed the summer

with our 2 doggies.

7月は1週間くらい

真夏日があったが、

その後はいつもの

アイルランドの天気に

逆戻りした。

それでも、犬達と一緒に

夏を満喫した。

山歩き。

Visited a sunflower garden at

Scalp Wood Nurseries.

You donate money to Hospice Charity

and you can cut some sunflowers.

近くのガーデンセンターの

ひまわり畑に行った。

ホスピスのチャリティのためのもので、

お金をいくらか寄付して、

ひまわりを持って帰れるシステムだ。

Also swimming in the sea.

海でも泳ぐ。

Miffy playing with her favourite toy.

ミッフィーはお気に入りの

ぬいぐるみで遊ぶ。

Finished a knitted linen jumper.

リネンのセーターを編み終えた。

Bought greengages at Marks and Spencer.

It is the only place I can buy greengages,

and late August and early September

is the only time these fruits are available.

マークス＆スペンサーで

グリーンゲージを購入。

グリーンゲージをアイルランドで

買えるのはM＆Sだけで、

それも8月後半・9月前半だけだ。

Made jam & pickled greengages.

ジャムと酢漬けを作った。
