Birthday Girl (Not Really....)

5 July is Miffy's birthday.

Well, as we adopted her from a dog rescue centre,

we don't know when her real birthday is,

so the day we adopted her is her birthday.

She's 6 this year. 

(Her microchip was registered 6 years ago.)

7月5日はミッフィーの誕生日。

というか、ミッフィーはレスキューセンター

からやってきたので本当の誕生日は不明。

それで私たちが引き取った日を誕生日にした。

今年で6歳。

（マイクロチップが登録されたのが6年前）

We had a barbecue to celebrate her birthday,

and she was supposed to get a beef bone that evening.

But she didn't get it on her birthday,

 as she stole a sausage from the barbecue grill(!!).

当日はバーベキューをしてお祝いし（人間が）、

その後プレゼントにビーフボーンをあげるつもりだったけど、

ミッフィーはバーベキュー中に 

ソーセージをグリルから盗むという暴挙に出たため、

ビーフボーンはお預けになった。

Today she finally received her belated birthday gift.

そして今日そのビーフボーンをプレゼント。

もう3年も経ったのは不思議な気持。
