Lovely Correspondence from 1969

A friend of mine tweeted about a letter,

her diplomat father-in-low had sent in Canada in 1969,

in reply to a letter from a 11-year-old girl

who was asking about bringing a cat from Canada to Ireland.

外交官だった友人の父が1969年にカナダ駐在中に、

11歳の女の子から

猫をアイルランドに連れて行くことに関する質問が寄せられ、

それに対する解答の手紙が公開されたことを、

友人の奥さん（も私の友人）がツイートした。
その手紙が素晴らしいのでここで紹介したい。
