Three Rock Mountains

Shiro's almost back to normal.

So we went out to the doggies' favourite place, 

Three Rock Mountains

after I finished my work.

 

シローがかなり元気になってきたので

私の仕事が終った後

犬達の大好きな場所、

Three Rock Mountainsに行って来た。

Bloom

Went to Bloom, a garden exhibition event in Phoenix Park

on Thursday, the first day with Claire.

The weather wasn't great, unfortunately,

but that didn't stop us enjoying the event.

今年も友人のクレアと

Bloomというガーデニングのイベントのため

フェニックス公園に行って来た。

 お天気は悪かったが、

それでも楽しい時間を過ごせた。 　

Mr. Tayto.

テイトーといい、

アイルランドのポテトチップスのブランド名にも

なっている。

そのロゴがMr. Tayto。）

I got a call from the vet today to tell me 

Shiro's lumps were all benign!

What a relief!

今日、獣医から電話があり、

シローの腫瘍はぜんぶ良性だと言われた。

よかったーー！！

You still have scars and baldy bits,

but you look so cute with a big smile on your face.

まだ手術の傷口もあるし、

剃られて禿げた所もあるけど、

笑顔が似合うよ！

You must be delighted Shiro's getting better, Miffy?

ミッフィーもシローが元気になってきて

安心してるよね？

The Brave Girl

I know Shiro is having a hard time recovering from his surgery,

but our girl dog Miffy has something to be praised of.

She lost more than 2kg since her fattest time!

シローが手術からの回復で大変な思いをしているが、

ミッフィーにも褒められる点がある。

体重が最高時よりも2kgも減ったのだ。

でも、ミッフィーが今何キロなのかは内緒。

The Brave Boy

Shiro had a surgery to remove a cyst from

his right year and head, and a lump from his right side.

先週シローは、右耳と頭のできもの、

そして右腹の腫瘍を取り除くために手術をした。

The cells have been sent to a lab for a check,

so let's hope they are benign.

細胞が検査に送られているので、

良性であることを祈るしかない。

He had a terrible time.

Being left at the vet, and going through 

operations.... Poor Shiro....

But he's coping very well.

What a brave boy....

シローにとっては辛い経験であったに違いない。

獣医に置き去りにされ、

全身麻酔を施されて手術。

でも、それに一つ一つ勇敢に立ち向かっている。

偉いよ、シロー！！

Today he had a first outing since the surgery.

And these are the cute paw marks he made

after walking muddy fields.

今日、手術後初めて散歩に出かけた。

ちょっとドロドロの所を歩いた後に

シローがつけた肉球の後。

カワイイ。

We'll look after you no matter what.

何があっても一緒だからね、シロー。

 

 

As We Have Moved Recently...

We went to this place.

引っ越したばかりなのでここへ行った。

 And the untidiness....

そして散らかった部屋...。

 

No relation to the topic of the blog,

but I had to include these photos 

as Shiro is so cute in them.

ブログのタイトルには関係ないけど、

シローがカワイイので

写真を添付してみた（笑）。

Ticknock

Our new house is only 10 minutes' drive to Ticknock.

We had to take to the dogs to the vet, which is on the way to Ticknock,

so we decided to go there first.

新居はTicknockから車で10分くらいの所にある。

そして今日は犬達は狂犬病の注射のために

Ticknockの近くの獣医に行く必要

があったので、

獣医に行く前にTicknockで散歩した。

It's the doggies's favourite place.

But there was a mountain bike event today 

so we had to share the paths with cyclists.

犬達のお気に入りの丘。

でも、今日はマウンテンバイクのイベントがあり、

沢山のサイクリストがいた。

This is usually Miffy's style (but it's Shiro).

これはミッフィーお得意のポーズ。

（でもこれはシロー。）

At the vet's.

The dogs were fascinated by a cat in a cage

in the waiting room.

獣医での待合室にいた、

ケージ入りの猫に興味津々の犬達。

Life Goes on As Normal

We've been living surrounded by boxes,

which we've been working so hard to unpack.

At the same time, life goes on as normal,

and we need to do things which need to be done...

引っ越したばかりなので、

とにかく段ボール箱に囲まれながら生活している。

しかし、そんな中でも日常生活に必要な

雑用はしっかりこなさなければならない。

And these things are what I find happiness in.

そんな忙しい日々の中で笑顔をもたらしてくれたもの。

 A dog who was waiting for its master without a lead

in front of a convenience store

couldn't resist the temptation and went inside!

コンビニの前でリードなしで

ご主人様を待っていたけど

ガマンできなくなって店の中に入ってしまった犬（笑）。

I was waiting outside with Shiro & Miffy.

この時私はシローとミッフィーとコンビニの外で待っていた。

Saw lovely irises when I went to my husband's father's house

to use their washing machine.

(We don't have one yet!)

洗濯をさせてもらいに行った義父の家の庭に

咲いていたアヤメ。

（新居に洗濯機がまだない！）

Relaxing with the dogs and watching relaxing dogs.

荷解きをしていない時は犬達とのんびり。

And furniture shopping for the new house.

新居用の家具を色々見て回る。

At the moment, chandelier type light fittings are IN.

今の天井用のランプはシャンデリアっぽいのが流行しているようだ。

It takes a long time to do all the work we need to do,

but I'm enjoying it.

色々手直ししたり家具を買ったりする必要があるが、

自分たちの気に入るものが見付かるまで

気長に取り組みたい。

New House & New Spitz Neighbour

We have fully moved in to our new home.

新しい家で本格的な生活が始まった。

On the day we got the keys.

新しい家の鍵を貰った日。

Yesterday.

昨日。

And this morning.

そして今朝。

 I was walking the dogs this morning,

and encountered another Japanese spitz!!

今朝、犬達と近所を散歩していると、

近くに住んでいるという日本スピッツに遭遇！

Nora.

She's a rescue dog like Miffy.

ノーラちゃん。

ミッフィーと同じく保護犬。

かわいい。

I'm so excited about the new era of our life.

新しいチャプターが始まった。

Killiney Hill (But We May Not Come Here for a While)

Brief friendly moment at home.

短い間だけ仲良し。

We're moving!

It means we have bought a house at last!!!

It was a long and difficult journey.

 

やっと家を買うことができ、

いよいよ今週末引っ越し！

本当に大変だった。

本が一冊書けそうな道のりだった。

丸一年かかるとは思わなかった。

The dogs looking uneasy while I pack.

荷造りをしていると犬達は不安そうに私を見つめる。

They're probably wondering,

'Is she going to disappear fro 3 weeks again?

Or are we going to be put in an aircraft again?'

私が再び3週間も日本に行ってしまうのか？

あるいは自分たちもまたクレートに入れられて、

飛行機に乗せられてしまうのか？

とか心配しているのか。

We're moving!

But the new home will be a bit far from Killiney Hill

so we won't be able to visit there as often as now...

新居はキライニーヒルからはちょっと遠くなるから

今までみたいに頻繁には行けない。

 

Bluebells & Tellington TTouch

On the first day of 3 day weekend,

we went to Marlay Park.

３連休の初日にはMarlay Parkに出かけた。

The dogs were given treats by a (probably German) lady

who had a stall to promote a dog training method

called Tellington TTouch.

そこで犬達はTellington TTouchという

犬の訓練方法をプロモートしていた

（多分）ドイツ人女性からオヤツをもらう。

Tellington TTouchが効いているのか、
見知らぬ女性を警戒する
ミッフィーが熱心にオヤツを要求している（笑）。
