シローの背後に散らかっているのはセイウチの中味...。

 悪代官顔（笑）。

  During our morning walk, Shiro found a tennis ball.

朝の散歩の途中、シローはテニスボールを発見。

 Don't know why but Shiro started to

cut the grass around the ball.

何故かテニスボールの周囲の

草むしりを一心不乱に始めた。

 But occasionally Shiro checked where Miffy was.

そして時折ミッフィーをチェック。

Miffy was fine, enjoying herself!

ミッフィーは一人で楽しんでる。

Yesterday I visited my husband's father's house.

He kindly let me pick his gooseberries.

義父の庭でグースベリーを

山ほど摘んで来た。

これは私の楽しみ！

St. Enda's Park

Another beautiful summer day.

Went to St. Enda's Park.

今日も又夏らしいお天気。

聖エンダ公園に出かけた。

There's Pearse Museum in the park.

公園ないには「ピアース博物館」がある。

There were cherries on cherry trees in the park.

公園の桜の木にさくらんぼがいっぱい。

 Shiro swam in the stream.

He looks like a seal inside a fountain,

as water is pouring out from his mouth:-))

シローは小川で泳いだ。

何か噴水などでよく見る

口から水を出しているアザラシの銅像みたい（笑）。

 And Miffy paddled.

ミッフィーも入水。

 I love this park.

Carrickgollogan on a Sunny Day

Went Geocaching to Carrickgollogan today.

Carrickgolloganにジオキャッシングに行って来た。

 Shiro found an "Angry Bird" soft toy in the cache box.

シローはキャッシュの箱の中に「アングリーバード」の

ぬいぐるみを発見！

 He took it, ran away,

and waited for us to chase him.

そしてそれを持って逃げて行き、

私達が追いかけるのを待つ（笑）。

 Then we went to the chimney.

そして煙突まで散歩。

My husband went down to Ballycorus Leadmines' tunnel.

The dogs were staring at him.

 夫は鉛採鉱場のトンネルに入った。

犬達凝視。

It was a lovely sunny day and

I really enjoyed the walk.

気持ちのいい夏の日。

 

Snapshots of Summerly Days

Summer has arrived (at last).

やっと夏らしくなってきた。

And the doggies were sunbathing in the garden,

lying down (quite) close to each other.

犬達も庭で日光浴中。

それも割と近めの間隔で（笑）！

 

Sandymount Strand at Sunset

We lived in Sandymount for 2 weeks last year

immediately after we came back from Japan.

去年の5月日本から戻って来て、

家を借りるまでSandymountに2週間滞在した。

Today was a glorious summerday.

We went there after dinner for a walk.

今日は本当にいいお天気だった。

夕食の後、Sandymountまでドライブして散歩。

The first skirt day of the year.

今年初スカート。

Homebaking

On Friday I baked a peach cake for a friend

who visited me to do some knitting together on Saturday.

先週の金曜日に、翌日の土曜日に

友人が編み物をするために我が家に来てくれる

ことになっていたのでピーチケーキを焼いた。

ミッフィーがん見！（笑）

Today, I baked a gooseberry crumble.

I do this every summer.

そして今日はグースベリークランブルを焼いた。

The dogs are waiting for a treat, 

but not the cakes I made.

犬達が待っているのは犬用のオヤツ。

私が作ってケーキではない。

Hill of the Dogs

Today we climbed to the summit of Knocknagun.

The word Knocknagun is written in Irish as 'Cnoc na gCon',

and it means "Hill of the Dogs"!

今日はKnocknagun という山に登った。

Knocknagun とはアイルランド語で

「犬の丘」と言う意味。

勿論我が家の愛玩犬達も一緒に行き、

今日は「日本スピッツの丘」と化した（笑）。

 Encounterd sheep.

羊に遭遇。

 Saw some bunnies.

ウサギを目撃。

Walked towards the summit.

頂上を目指して歩く。

And here we were!

そして頂上を制覇！

We stopped at "Prince William's Seat" on our way.

It became "Prince Shiro's Seat".

途中で「ウィリアム王子の椅子」と呼ばれる

岩にも寄った。

その椅子は一瞬だけ「シロー王子の椅子」となった。

The doggies got sooo filthy,

but it's OK as we had a great time!

犬達は泥だらけになってしまったが、

楽しかった！

Happy Hours

シローの幸せなひととき：

落ちていたテニスボールと格闘。

And lying under our car in the back garden :-((

そして裏庭に停めてある車の下でリラックス...。

I don't know why but he has taken to

lying under the car to relax

since we moved house.

何故か今の家に引っ越して来てから

シローがこんな風にリラックスするようになった。
