SENDAI 2

In the morning, we visited my friend's grave.

Her parents kindly drove us there.

午前中は、友人のお墓参りに行った。

友人のご両親がご親切にも車で一緒に行って下さった。

In the afternoon, we took a "Loople Bus" and

visited  a couple of famous sites.

Only 3 sites listed are open on Monday,

but it suited us fine as my husband has got a cold

and we didn't want to spend a lot time sightseeing anyway.

 午後は「ループル仙台」という

乗り降り自由なハトバスで市内観光をした。

月曜日は3つの観光地しか開いてないが、

夫が風邪で体調が悪かったので

ちょうどよかった。

First, we saw "Zuihoden".

最初に瑞鳳殿を見た。

And visited "Aoba Castle".

そして青葉城。

The statue of "Date Masamune".

伊達政宗の銅像。

An "Omikuji" vending machine.

"Shishimai" dances and chooses a "kuji" for you.

自動おみくじ器（笑）。

In the evening, we reunited with my friend's parents.

They invited us to "Hanahan".

Very, very nice.

夜は再び友人のご両親と合流し、

「花はん」でお食事をご馳走して頂いた（大恐縮）。

とても美味しくて感動。

 私が友人に会いたくて勝手に仙台に来ているのに、

ご両親には本当に良くして頂き、

感謝の気持ちでいっぱいだ。
