SNOW

My husband didn't go to work and

the whole country stood still....

夫は家から仕事をし、

国全体がストップした...。

At least there were happy creatures.

喜んでいる方々もいた。

Before the Snow Comes

Heavy snow is forecast for the next couple of days.

The doggies need to enjoy their walk before snow arrives.

これから数日間シベリアからの寒気で大雪になると

天気予報で言っている。

その前に犬達といっぱい散歩しなければならない。

And my friend who lives in the neighbourhood

asked me to check on her cat--to see

if the house wasn't too cold.

そして近所に住む友人に

家が寒くなりすぎてペットの猫ちゃんが

大丈夫かどうかチェックしてくれと

頼まれた。

仮設のお家にいました。

Affectionate Doggies

On Monday, I had nothing to do,

I decided to tidy the shed.

Shiro somehow followed me inside the shed.

He had never done this before.

He looked like he wanted to be close to me 💗

月曜は特に何もすることがなかったので、

庭の物置を片付けることにした。

中に入ったらシローも一緒に付いて来て

中でずっと寄り添ってくれていた。

シローが物置に入ってくるのは初めて出会った。

なんか嬉しい 💗

On Tuesday, I got busy with work,

so I just took them out for a walk locally and 

kept working at home.

火曜日は急に仕事が入ったので、

犬散歩の後は家でひたすら仕事。

But the doggies give me a lot of happiness.

でも犬達には幸せをたくさんもらっている。

(because I was holding treats).

ミッフィーがカメラに向かって

微笑んでる

（多分私がもっているオヤツに

対してだと思うけど）。

This makes me happy.

嬉しい。

Weekend Activities

On sunny Saturday, we drove to Loughshinny in North Dublin.

お天気のよかった土曜日に

ダブリン北部の海岸 Loughshinny に行った。

On wet Sunday, my husband took the doggies

to Kippure Mountain.

雨の日曜日は夫が犬達と

Kippure 山に連れてった。

They came home very muddy 😭

犬達はドロドロになって帰って来た 😭

It doesn't matter if the doggies are happy.

犬達が幸せなら全然いい。

Flowers Are Opening

The rose flowers my husband gave me

on St. Valentine's Day have started opening.

夫がバレンタインデーにくれた

バラの花が開き出してとてもきれい。

On Friday 16th, we went out for 

late Valentine's dinner at a Japanese restaurant nearby.

16日の金曜日に近くの日本料理屋に

バレンタインデーのディナーに行った。

This is a OK restaurant,

though it's nowhere near the real nice Japanese sushi.

ここの日本料理は、

アイルランドの日本食レストランの中では

まあまあマシの方である。

During the day,

I took the doggies to Cabinteely Park.

Crocuses are opening up there, too.

その日の午前中は

犬達を Cabinteely Park に連れて行った。

そこではクロッカスが開き始めていた。

 

Spring is on its way.

春ももうすぐ。

Feeling (Quite) Loved

This year's St. Valentine's Day happened to 

fall on Ash Wednesday.

Nonetheless, my husband bought me flowers

and cooked us breakfast on the morning.

今年のバレンタインデーは

「灰の水曜日」に重なった。

その日はディナーとか行かなかったが、

夫が花を買って来てくれ、

その日の出勤前に朝食を作ってくれた。

そして雪の中を散歩。
