Shiro has been diagnosed as having “mitral valve disease”.
Unfortunately it is more common among smaller breeds
and unusual for a Japanese spitz,
and not reversible.
He will take medication for the rest of his life
and we make sure he will live happily as long as he can.
シローがずっと咳をしていたので
獣医に連れて行って検査をしてもらったら、
「僧帽弁閉鎖不全症」と診断された。
小型犬に多い病気で、スピッツにはあまりない病気らしい。
治療はできないけど、症状の進行を止めるため、
これから頑張って薬を飲み続けることになった。
