Special Days

5 July is a special day for Miffy.

That's the day she came to live with us.

7月5日はミッフィーの

うちの子記念日。

We had a party, inviting my husband's family,

to celebrate my stepmother-in-law's birthday,

the award my sister-in-law's won in the university

she teaches at,

and Miffy's anniversary!

そこで、

義継母の誕生日、

義妹が教鞭を取る大学で賞を貰ったこと、

そしてミッフィーの記念日をお祝いするために

夫の家族を招待して我が家で小さなパーティーを開いた。

Forgot to take photos of the food...

But took some photos of the dogs under the table.

食べ物の写真を撮るのを忘れた。

 Miffy smiles, too!

She started to smile since only last year.

ミッフィーも笑顔。

ミッフィーが笑顔を見せてくれるようになったのは、

引き取ってから３年目の去年くらいからだ。

 記念日に仲良し！

The following day, I took the doggies to the river Dodder 

while my husband was playing golf for

his friend's stag outing.

翌日は、夫が結婚する友人開催の

男友達ばかりで行われたゴルフに参加している間、

私は犬達をDodder川に連れて行った。

This was my first time to go there

since we lived in Japan in 2012.

去年日本から帰ってきて以来

ここに行くのは初めて。

So many beautiful flowers like this are there,

but they are specified as invasive species

 (Impatiens glandulifera).

キレイな花だが (Impatiens glandulifera)

外来種に特定されている。

 Shiro was a bit nervous

when approached by another doggie

while he was swimming.

泳いでいる最中に

他のワンちゃんがやってきて

ちょっとビックリするシロー。

Miffy doesn't normally swim,

and she was having a drink

with a scary face :-))

泳がないミッフィーは入水して

コワイ顔でお水をたしなむ。

 Had a lovely time!!
