Plum Blossoms in Kozen Park

Went to see plum blossoms in Kozen Park in Sakai City.

However, there were more buds than flowers yet, 

due to the cold winter this year.

(Sounds similar to last week's daffodil hill.)

荒山（こうぜん）公園の梅を見に行ったけど、

まだ三分咲きというところだった。

残念だったけど、お天気は良かったし、

いい気持ちで散歩できた。

The owner family's daughter's 

very interested in Ireland.

 

ワイヤーフォックステリアと。

飼い主の方のお嬢さんが、

アイルランドに夢中なんだそうだ。

 There is a shrine called 

"Tajihayahime" beside the park.

It is supposed to have been built

in the 6th century. 

隣にある多治速比売神社（たじはやひめじんじゃ） 。

本殿は国の重要文化財に指定されている。

（勿論、外からは全く見えない。）
