(Almost) Three Rock Mountains

My husband is in London for work today.

So it's up to me to look after (and entertain) the doggies now.

夫は出張でまたまたロンドンにいる。

犬達の世話をする（そして遊んであげる）責任は私にかかっている（大袈裟）。

So I took them to their all-time favourite spot: Three Rock Mountains.

そこで、犬達も大好きな場所、Three Rock Mountainsに出向いた。

First, do the (synchro) business.

まずはシンクロ。

Scary Shiro.

怖い顔でサラダバー中のシロー。

I wanted to reach the rocks, but we didn't go.

there were horse riders near the rocks so

I thought I should avoid there

in case the doggies frighten the horses.

本当は岩の近くまで行きたかったのだが、

乗馬をしている人たちが岩の近くにいたので

今回は諦めた。

犬達が馬をビックリさせたら大変なことになるので。

EURO -- in Many Aspects

The "Brexit" has been dominating the news.

I don't want Britain to leave EU but 

we can only wait and see what will happen....

イギリス国民投票でEU離脱が過半数を超えた。

イギリスの離脱で一番大きな影響を受けるのは

おそらくアイルランドである。

今後どうなるか色々と心配ではある。

And another EURO issue--Eurocup 2016.

It was a pity Northern Ireland and Ireland 

were both eliminated...

(Fake) Queen Elizabeth's tweet was funny

after Wales beat Northern Ireland.

もう一つのユーロイベント、

それはサッカーのユーロカップ！

北アイルランドもアイルランドも破れてしまったのは

残念だ。

ウェールズが北アイルランドに勝った後の

偽物のエリザベス女王のツイートが良かった。

（国民投票の際、ウェールズは「離脱」が大多数を占め、

北アイルランドでは「残留」が大多数を占めた。）

The doggies supported Ireland, of course.

犬達ももちろんアイルランドを応援。

 

After the match, we went to War Memorial Gardens.

(Another Europe related event for us.)

The gardens are dedicated to the memory of Irish soldiers 

who died in the First World War.

試合が終わった後、

War Memorial Gardensに行った。

（これもユーロ関係のイベントと言える。）

ここは、第一次大戦で戦死した

アイルランド兵を記念して造られた公園だ。

With a spitz pommeranian cross doggy

(I forgot to ask the name).

このワンちゃんの両親は

スピッツとポメラニアンだそうだ。

In the evening I made elderflower cordial.

そして夕方はエルダーフラワーのドリンクを作成。

It was a busy last weekend of June 2016.

色々と波乱に満ちた週末であった。

Killiney Hill

Had a short walk to the top of Killiney Hill,

between my work and house renovation.

仕事と壁のペンキ塗りの合間を見て、

 Killiney Hillの頂上まで行ってみた。

Midsummer's Day is supposed to be the beginning of summer,

but feels like summer is already over here....

最近お天気があまり良くないので、

晴れ間を見つけたらフットワークも軽く

犬達を散歩に連れて行くように心がけている。

写真を撮ろうとしているのだが....。

うまく行かないなぁ。
