In the morning, we took the dogs to the vet in Saint-Quentin.
It's a necessary process to take them back to Ireland.
午前中はサン＝カンタンの獣医に犬達を連れて行った。

After that we took a short walk in Parc d'Isle Jacques Braconnier.
その後は少しだけイスル・ジャック・ブラコニエ公園で散歩。
Miffy is still fascinated by the guinea pigs.
ミッフィーはやはりモルモットに夢中。
And Shiro, too (to some extent).
シローもちょっと関心あり。
In the afternoon, my husband & the dogs went for Geocaching,
and I stayed at Air B&B to do some cleaning & packing.
午後は夫と犬達がジオキャッシングをしている間、
私は宿の掃除と荷造りをした。
For dinner we went out for a meal at a local restaurant called
"Au Bistro de Paris".
夕食には徒歩5分の所にあるレストラン
「Au Bistro de Paris」に行ってみた。
There was nothing "Paris" about it.
If any, it was very North African.
The music they were playing (loudly) was
dance version of the 80's songs.
But the steak was good enough.
名前とは異なり「パリ」を
彷彿させるものは何もなかった。
BGMは何故か80年代の英語の曲の
ダンスリミックスバージョンだったし。
パリというよりはアルジェリアという感じだった。
ステーキは美味しかったが。

Today we learned a new expression
"Café allongé" at this restaurant.
今日はこのレストランで
「カフェ アロンジェ」という言葉を知った。
Whenever I ordered a coffee in France,
I always got a tiny espresso.
フランスでコーヒーを注文すると
必ず小さなエスプレッソが来る。
I want a big American coffee.
I tried saying "Americano", but it didn't work.
I also asked my French friend about it,
and she didn't know how to say it exactly,
and suggested "grand café".
大きなアメリカンが欲しいので、
「アメリカーノ」とか言ってみても通じない。
フランス人の友人に聞いても
「何ていうのかはっきりはわからないけど、
『グラン・カフェ』（大きなコーヒー）はどうかな？」
という答えだった。
But today, the guy at the restaurant taught us the phrase.
"A long coffee"!
しかし今日このレストランのスタッフが教えてくれた。
「長いコーヒー」！
