We decided to take our summer holiday in September this year.
We came to France.
今年の夏休みは９月に取ることにし、今はフランスにいる。
First we took a boat from Dublin to Holyhead.
まずフェリーでダブリンからウェールズへ。
We had a little walk in the beach before going on the boat.
フェリーに乗る前に犬達と軽く散歩。
We stopped for lunch in a small town in Wales,
then kept driving all the way to a B&B in Folkestone.
ウェールズで軽い昼食を食べ、
その後はフォークストンへとイギリス横断ドライブ。
Lincolnshire sausage served for breakfast at B&B.
フォークストンの宿で朝食に食べたリンカンシャーソーセージ。
We got a train to Calais from Folkestone.
It was my first time to use Euro Tunnel.
There is a lovely dog run at the port in Folkestone.
ユーロトンネルを使って
フランスのカレーまで電車で行くことにした。
初めての体験だ。
また、フォークストンの港にはドッグランまである。

いざ、列車に乗車！
It takes about 25 minutes from England to France.
イギリスからフランスまで約25分。
Then we drove from Calais to Saint-Quentin,
a town in the north-east of France.
カレーから約２時間半かけて、
フランス北東部にあるサン＝カンタンにやってきた。
The Air B&B we are staying in.
今回滞在するエアーB&B。

We'll have a lot of fun with the doggies again this year!

Unfortunately, we haven't had a single proper nice meal
since we left Dublin yet....

As shops close on Sundays, we couldn't buy anything.

フランスの田舎は日曜日は店が開いてない...。

マクドナルドよりましかと思ったら
激マズだった。
