We normally bring our Air B&B host
small souvenirs from Ireland to show our appreciation.
海外で Air B&B に泊まる時は、家主の方にささやかな
アイルランドのお土産を渡すようにしている。
Then just before we left it, the landlady gave us
a bottle of wine and a box of chocolates.
She said the chocolate came from a shop,
which is run by the President's wife's family.
(We later discovered that both the President & his wife
come from Amiens.)
Air B&B を出る直前、
家主の方からそのお返しとして
ワインとチョコレートを頂いた。
そのチョコレートは５世代続くお店で、
なんとマクロン大統領の奥さんブリジットさん
の実家なんだそうだ。
（その後大統領ご夫妻は二人ともアミアン出身だと知った。）
I opened the chocolate only yesterday to enjoy it after dinner.
When I opened the box, I couldn't stop laughing.
食後の甘いものとして食べるために
昨日初めてチョコレートの箱を開けたのだが、
開けてビックリ。

Shiro got attached to the garden of Air B&B so much so that
he refused to go out for a walk from the house.
He thought he had to guard it from cats....
シローは Air B&B の家の庭がすっかり気に入り、
家から一時も離れたくないようで、
散歩に出てもすぐ帰りたがった。
Sorry, Shiro, our garden in Dublin is tiny....
我が家の庭は極小でごめんね、シロー...。
