Autumn!

It feels like ages ago

when we were enjoying the warm weather in Spain.

It's cold and really autumn in Ireland.

スペインで海岸に行ったりして

夏のような天気を楽しんでいたのが

ほんの1週間前なんて信じられない。

アイルランドはすっかり秋。

The leaves are beautiful red.

Cabinteely 公園のツタも

すっかり紅葉している。

However, we are still getting

passion flowers in our garden.

しかし我が家の庭では

まだパッションフラワーが咲いている。

And the boy next door

picked our passion fruit

which was in the hedge facing outside.

(He handed it to my husband

who was passing by.)

そして隣の男の子が

我が家の生垣の外側で生っていた

パッションフルーツを摘んで

たまたま通りがかった

夫に渡してくれた。

Autumn is almost non-existent in Ireland.

This is the beginning of the long & cold winter.....
