Today we crossed the Øresund/Öresund Bridge and
visited Denmark.
今日はオースレン橋を渡って国境を越え、
デンマークに行ってきた。
We did it 15 years ago, too.
15年前にもやった。
But before that we went for a walk in the park nearby.
ユネスコの世界遺産である。
その前に犬たちと近くの公園を散歩した。
Of course the dogs are not allowed to go in,
so my husband went in and I waited with the doggies.
犬は大聖堂の中に入れないので
夫だけが中に入り私は犬達と外で待った。
There is a market in the square.
近くではマーケットもあった。
It's famous for Hamlet's castle.
これもユネスコの世界遺産で、
シェイクスピアのハムレットの舞台になったことで有名だ。
On the way to Kronborg Castle,
we stopped at Hillerød for lunch.
クロンボー城に行く途中で
ヒレレズに昼食のために立ち寄った。
Miffy is waiting for the pizza to fall.

Then we noticed that there were a lot of tourist coaches at the car park--
one from Ukraine, two from Russia and also a coach full of Chinese people.
We googled the place and discovered that Frederiksborg Castle is in this town.
昼食前に車を駐車場に停めた際、
たくさんの観光バスが停まっているのに気付いた。
これは有名な観光地に違いないと思い検索してみると、
フレデリクスボー城があることを発見した。
So we changed our plan and visited the castle.
そこで予定を急遽変更し、このお城に行くことにした。
After a while, we got too tired so we decided not to go to Kronborg Castle.
We went there 15 years ago anyway.
ここで２人とも（おそらく犬達も）疲れ果ててしまい、
クロンボー城に行くのを断念した。
We drove up to Helsingør and got a ferry to Helsingborg in Sweden.
そのまま北上してヘルシンゲルまで行き、
対岸のスウェーデンのヘルシンボリまでフェリーに乗った。

As alcohol is very expensive both in Sweden and Denmark,
a lot of people buy duty free alcohol on board.
スェーデンもデンマークもお酒が高いので、
フェリーの免税店で多くの人が大量に購入していた。
After a short boat ride, we made our journey back to our house.
短いフェリーでの移動の後、家まで１時間ほどかけて運転した。
In my earlier entry I wrote the list of the countries Shiro has visited as:
UK, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Switzerland,
Austria, Lichtenstein, Japan, the Netherlands and Sweden.
But my husband pointed out that Shiro hasn't visited Italy,
only the Italian speaking part of Switzerland.
So adding Denmark today, the list has become 11 now.
以前のエントリーで
「これでシローが訪問した国の総数が２つ増え、
全部で１１カ国になった。
イギリス、フランス、スペイン、ドイツ、イタリア、スイス、
オーストリア、リヒテンシュタイン、日本、オランダ、そしてスウェーデン。」
と書いたが、夫に
「イタリア語圏のスイスに行ったけどイタリアには行ってない」
と指摘された。
と、いうことで今日のデンマークを加え シローのリストは１１カ国になった。
Miffy's list has become 8.
ミッフィーのリストは８カ国になった。
