War Memorial Garden--Spitz Encounter

Our Lithuanian friend is visiting Dublin at the moment 

so a group of us decide to meet up in War Memorial Garden for a walk.

リトアニア人のAさんがダブリンに遊びに来ているので、

仲の良い数人がWar Memorial Gardenに集まり、一緒に散歩した。

When we were walking beside River Liffey,

we encountered a Japanese spitz!

This is my third spitz this week.

Moreover, we saw a Japanese spitz 

last time we met this Lithuanian friend, too!

リフィー川沿いを散歩していると

日本スピッツに遭遇！

今週スピッツに会うのはこれで３度目だ。

その上、前回Aさんに会った時にも

偶然にもスピッツに遭遇した。

6 year old girl, Holly.

6歳の女の子、ホリーちゃん。

She's also a rescue dog,

just like the 2 previous ones I saw this week.

She was abandoned by a breeder 

when she was 1 and a half years old.

She had 2 babies before she was abandoned.

ホリーちゃんも、他の二人と同様保護犬だ。

1歳半の時にブリーダーから捨てられた。

捨てられる前に2匹の赤ちゃんを生んでいるそうだ。

Shiro is (slightly) friendlier than Miffy,

so he went over and said hello to Holly.

ミッフィーより（少しだけだが）他の犬に対して

社交性のあるシローがご挨拶。

And Shiro was petted by Holly's owners.

(Miffy wouldn't come near us.)

そしてホリーちゃんの飼い主さんに可愛がってもらう。

（ミッフィーはまったく近寄ってこない。）

All the Japanese spitzes I saw today are girls,

and they all come from a dog rescue place.

Including Miffy,

all the Japanese spitzes I've seen who were adopted from

a rescue centre are girls.

They were probably used as breeding dogs

and abandoned when their job was finished.

It's sad and unforgivable.

今週会った日本スピッツはみんな女の子で

みんな保護センター出身の子ばかりだ

ミッフィーも含め、

今までに会った保護センター出身の日本スピッツはみんな女の子。

多分繁殖用に飼われてて捨てられたんだろうと思う。

本当に許せない。

I'm glad Holly has a happy life now!

ホリーちゃん、今は幸せでよかったね。
