Killiney Hill--Spitz Encounter

Went to Killiney Hill with the doggies.

犬達とKilliney Hillに散歩に出かけた。

Climbing is a bit tiring for the dogs.

犬達には丘を登るのはちょっと大変だったかな。

When we came back to the car park,

we saw another Japanese spitz!

丘を下りて駐車場に戻ってきたら、

日本スピッツ発見！

Petra, 13 years old.

(I only had a smart phone to take photos...)

13歳の女の子、ペトラちゃん。

（スマートフォンで撮影したからボケボケ...。）

Until 4 years ago when the current owner adopted her,

she was neglected and as a result, very timid.

But she regained her confidence sine then.

4年前に今の飼い主さんが引き取るまで、

飼い主から放置されて可愛がられていないなくて、

その結果とても臆病な犬だったそうだ。

今では自信を取り戻し笑顔を見せるようになったということだ。

よかったね、ペトラちゃん！

Shiro is (slightly) friendlier than Miffy,

so he went over and said hello to Petra.

ミッフィーより（少しだけだが）他の犬に対して

社交性のあるシローがご挨拶。

I'm glad we went to Killiney Hill today

as I was thinking of going somewhere else originally.

I didn't bring my SLR camera because I can't use it 

due to my tennis elbows....

最初は別の場所に行くつもりで家を出発したのだが、

Killiney Hillに行くことにして良かった。

一眼レフを持っていかなかったのは、

両腕テニス肘のせいで重いカメラが使えないためだ。

ペトラちゃんのまともな写真がなくて残念！
