Today, my husband and I went separate ways and did our own things.
今日は夫と別行動。
First we drove towards the beach together.
We saw a Boules competition taking place.
まず、一緒に浜辺まで車で行った。
浜辺ではブール大会が行われていた。
Behind the dogs is Turning Torso, the tallest building in Scandinavia.
It didn't exist when we were living here.
犬達の背後にはターニング・トルソと呼ばれる高層マンション。
スカンジナビアで１番高いビルらしい。
私たちが住んでいた頃には存在しなかった。
Then my husband went geocaching with the dogs,
and I drove to Emporia, one of the biggest shopping centres in Scandinavia.
その後夫は犬たちとGeocachingに出かけ、
私は一人でEmporiaという巨大ショッピングセンターまで運転した。
I looked around the shops, looking for nice glassware
for myself and a friend of mine
who is going to move house soon.
(In fact, she's moving back to Dublin from
a house in the countryside after 5 years.
And her Dublin house is only several houses away from our house!)
スウェーデンはガラス細工で有名なので、
何かいいガラス製品はないかと色々見て回った。
自分自身へのお土産と今月引っ越すことになっている
友人への引越し祝いだ。
実はこの友人は田舎からダブリンに戻ってくるのだが、
ダブリンの家は我が家から数軒離れたすぐ近くにあるのだ！
However, I didn't buy any glassware as I couldn't find a nice one.
(And my friend's taste for decorating a house
is a country style, not a Scandinavian style.)
結局ガラス製品は何も購入しなかった。
気に入ったものがなかったし、
この友人のインテリアはカントリースタイルで、
北欧スタイルじゃないことを思い出したせいもある。
I just bought a few things at ICA, the supermarket.
結局スーパーで食料品を数点購入。
I drove to the place my husband and the doggies were waiting,
and we went to a dog friendly cafe called "Café Knus".
その後、夫と犬達と合流し、
ドッグフレンドリーなカフェCafé Knusに行った。
After a simple lunch, my husband wanted to show me
the place he had been to while I was at the shopping centre.
簡単な昼食後、夫はGeocaching中に
行った場所を私に見せたいというので一緒に行ってみた。
A very big, lovely dog run with a dog friendly beach!
巨大なドッグランで、犬も泳げるビーチもある。
Miffy tried the agility but wanted to turn back.
(Shiro didn't even try.)
ミッフィーはアジリティに挑戦するも途中で断念。
（シローは挑戦すらしなかった。）
The Øresund/Öresund Bridge,
the bridge connecting Malmö and Copenhagen.
マルメとデンマークのコペンハーゲンを繋ぐオースレン橋。
(This is THE BRIDGE from which the
crime drama my husband is obsessed with is based on.)
この橋がTVドラマシリーズ「THE BRIDGE/ブリッジ」の橋である。
Copenhagen can be seen on the horizon.
水平線にコペンハーゲンが見える。
We'll cross the bridge while we are here.
この休暇中に橋を越えると思う。
