The best discovery in Bali--pandan cake.

I bought the ingredients

so that I can make it in Dublin. 

今回のバリ旅行での1番の発見：pandan cake。

ダブリンで再現できるよう、

材料を買って帰って来た。

I also tried Balinese massage twice.

またバリ風マッサージも2度受けた。

It was an interesting experience,

and I am glad I went to Bali.

However, I'm not sure if I want to go back,

especially to Denpasar or Kuta.....

楽しい思いもしたし

リゾートでのホリデイ体験ができたが、

もう1度行きたいかと聞かれると

ちょっと答えにつまってしまう。

特にデンパサールやクタなどは

観光客目当ての客引きが強すぎる。

Himeji - Bali

Visited very briefly Himeji Castle in the rain.

We arrived at the castle at 5 pm

so we could not get inside.

雨の中日帰りで姫路城に行った。

急に思い立って行ったので、

付いた時にはもう午後５時で

中には入れなかった😅

And we flew to Bali on 22 May.

Stayed in Sanur.

そして5月22日からバリ島にやって来た。

サヌールに滞在。

Went to Ubud by taxi.
タクシーでウブドまで行って観光。

Pura Taman Saraswati Temple.
People have to wear a a temple sash and sarong
to go inside.

中に入るにはサロンを身につけなければならない。

At the Monkey Forest.

My husband was mugged by a monkey....

夫は１匹の猿に攻撃されてしまった。

 We saw so many stray dogs....

野良犬がたくさんいた...。

Osaka - Tokyo - Yamanashi

Left Ireland for Japan on 16th May.

Arrived in Osaka on 17th,

and visited Tokyo on 19th, 

and Yamanashi on 20th 

to meet my friends from university.

5月17日に大阪にやって来た。

その後、大学時代の友人たちに会うため、

東京と山梨に行った。

(I gave this mug to her when the last

Royal Wedding took place.)

東京の友人宅でヘンリー王子の結婚式を見た。

その時に、ウィリアム王子の結婚式の時の

結婚式グッズを使ってお茶を飲んだ（笑）。

このマグは7年前私がイギリスで入手して

この友人にプレゼントしたものだ。

After this, we went to Powerscourt Hotel

to celebrate the birthdays of 3 members of the family.

この後、Powerscourt Hotel に行き、

5月生まれの３男子（義父、夫、義弟）の

誕生会ディナーを食べた。

May Bank Holiday Weekend

Our courgette is growing bigger.
