Today is supposed to be the beginning of
a long spell of "heat wave".
We drove to Skerries.
今日はこれから続くと言われている
「猛暑」の初日である。
Skerries というダブリン北部の海辺に出かけた。
First, we had a picnic.
まずはピクニック。
"I want to share the picnic!"
「ください！」
Despite the "heat wave",
it was quite "cold" sitting near the beach,
so we decided to walk towards Red Island.
「猛暑」のはずなのに
浜辺に座っていると寒くなってきたので、
Red Island に向かって歩くことにした。
It was nearly the lowest tide,
so my husband the doggies started walking to the island.
(I decided to stay on the mainland.)
ほぼ干潮だったので、
夫と犬達が島に向かって歩き出した。
（私は行かなかった。）
But the doggies didn't want to continue.
しかし犬達は途中で戻って来た。
My husband went on his own,
and the doggies were very unhappy about it.
夫は一人で島の方に歩き出し、
犬達は非常に不安そうであった。
After my husband came back,
the doggies were happy and came running towards me.
夫が戻って来たら犬達も安心して
私の方に走って来た。
As the doggies didn't have enough walk in Skerries,
we went to Ardgillan Castle.
犬達の散歩がちょと短めだったので
Ardgillan Castle に寄った。
I'm glad I brought my Nikon SLR today.
今日は一眼レフを持って行ってよかった！
