A Brief Happy Moment

It's been stormy.

(Weather-wise and work-wise.)

But I found a calm moment

between storms.

お天気と仕事の両方で嵐真っ只中の今日、

一瞬の静かな晴れ間を体験！

I want to be free....

早く自由になりたい。

Only 2 Work Free Days...

At least I had work-free Saturday & Sunday.

少なくとも今週末は仕事しないでよかった。

Went for a walk on the beach in Blackrock on Sunday.

日曜はBlackrockの浜辺で散歩。

And I'm drowning in the work again on Monday.

月曜はまた仕事漬け😢

Slightly Getting Back to Normal

My super-busy days are coming near to the end (I hope).

仕事漬けの日々もどうやら終わりに近づいて来た。

I am less stressed and feel like doing other things.

ストレスレベルも軽減し、

仕事以外のことをする余裕が出て来た。

I found a passion flower in November.

11月にパッションフラワーが咲いていた。

And I harvested a pepper I grew

from a seed taken from a supermarket bought pepper.

スーパーで買ったパプリカのタネから

育てた苗からパプリカを収穫した。

Looking forward to enjoying freedom.

Carla the Japanese Spitz

I'm still super busy and

I've been doing nothing else but working

since I came back from Japan,

相変わらず仕事が忙しく、

日本から戻ってから

仕事以外何もしていない。

On the weekend,

my husband took the doggies to Killiney Hill

while I was working at home,

and they encountered 

Carla the Japanese spitz.

週末に私が仕事をしている間に、

夫が犬達を Killiney Hill に連れて行き、

そこで日本スピッツのカーラちゃんに遭遇！

Carla & Shiro

I'd met Carla before

when I was on my own.

このカーラちゃんは、

以前私も犬達がいない時に

1度会ったことがある。

According to my husband,

Carla came from a breeder in Wexford 8 years ago.

Shiro also came from a breeder in Wexford.

夫によるとカーラちゃんは

8年前にWexfordのブリーダーさんから

やってきたそうだ。

シローのブリーダーさんもWexford在住であった。

I wonder if Shiro & Carla are related....

シローとカーラちゃんは親戚かもしれない。

Only the Surrounding Has Changed

I came back to Dublin a few days ago.

But what I have been doing is nothing but work.

Exactly the same as when I was in Osaka.

Only the surrounding has changed....

ダブリンには月曜に帰ってきた。

しかし翌日からまたまた翻訳の仕事。

日本にいた時と全く同じ状況。

周囲の環境が変わっただけである。

Unfortunately my husband is sick with cold.

I cannot afford to be sick now....

夫は風邪でダウン中。

風邪うつりたくない！

The doggies are a moral support for my husband.

風邪で寝込む夫を励ます犬達。

And Today's My Last Day in Osaka 😭

During this visit, I only had 2 full work-free days.

Not only that, this was the hardest translation job I took on....

今回の８日間の弾丸帰国中で、

仕事をしなくていい日が今日を含めて２日間だけであった。

その上、こんなに大変な翻訳の仕事は初めてだった。

I was so busy and stressed that I started to feel

dizzy and unwell at one point.

量の多さとストレスで、

途中から目眩をするようになってしまった。

However, I was able to enjoy warm sunny Osaka a bit.

しかしながら、暖かくてお天気のいい大阪を

ちょっとだけ楽しむことはできた。

On Saturday 3rd, 

I went to see comedy shows in Namba

with a good friend of mine.

3日の土曜日は難波の漫才劇場に

高校時代からの友人とお笑いを見に行った。

The last time I saw this kind of show was 33 years ago!!

最後にお笑いのステージを見に行ったのは、

33年前のなんば花月での、

明石家さんまと島田紳助のスペシャルコント

であった。

売れる前のダウンタウンやハイヒールも出てたな。

今日の漫才では

個人的には「アジアン」が

予想以上に面白かった。

And we went to a sushi restaurant

inside Takashimaya Department Store in Namba.

その後大阪高島屋の福喜鮨

で美味しいお寿司の昼食をいただき、

お茶には北花田のガストへ地下鉄で行った。

前回もやった。

I was delighted to go out to town at last.

But I wasn't all that happy to see

lot of Christmas decorations....

Too early and too warm for this.

Too much commercialism.

今回の帰国で都会に出たのはこの日だけ。

やっと電車でお出かけできてうれしかったが、

街はクリスマスの装飾と音楽で

あふれていてがっかり。

いやいや、早すぎるし暖かすぎるし。

もっと寒くなってからにしてほしい。
