1st February is the day of St. Brigid,
a saint strongly associated with Ireland.
From this year, the first Monday of February
has become a bank holiday to celebrate St. Brigid.
(Unlike St. Patrick's Day
which falls on 17 March every year.)

Anyway, this weekend was a 3 day weekend!
(And the weather was lovely!)
いずれにせよこの週末は3連休だった！
（そしていいお天気だった！）
On Saturday we drove to Howth.
日曜日にはHowthにドライブ。
Had lunch at a dog friendly cafe,
and saw a seal at the harbour.
犬も入れるカフェでランチを食べ、
波止場ではアザラシを見た。
Also saw George IV's footprints
he left when he visited Howth in 1821.
また、ジョージ4世が1821年に
Howthに来た時に残した
足跡を見た。
They are surprisingly small....
結構小さい...。
Miffy met a cute little pomeranian
and a pomeranina mix.
ミッフィーは可愛いポメラニアンと
ポメラニアンミックスに遭遇。
On Sunday, we drove to Wicklow town.
土曜日にはウィックロウに行った。
Blackcastle.
ブラック・キャッスル。
On Monday, we drove to Courtown, Co. Wexford.
月曜日はウェックスフォードの
コートタウンに行った。

It was a lovely weekend.
楽しい週末であった。
