We went away to Co. Mayo
for the August Bank Holiday Weekend
to conquer the summits of Galway, Sligo and Leitrim.
There is a reason why we went to Mayo
and didn't climb the mountain there.
We were supposed to meet up our friend in Mayo
and climb the mountain together,
but she got a last minute work and could not join us.
We kept the Mayo mountain for the next time
when she can come with us.
8月の３連休にはメイヨー県に行き、
ゴールウェイ、スライゴー、リートリムの
一番高い山の山頂を制覇した。
メイヨーに行ったのにメイヨーの山に登らなかった
のには理由がある。
最初の計画では、メイヨー在住の友人と
三人でメイヨーの山に登る予定だったのだが、
友人が急にその週末に出張に行くことになり、
一緒に来れなくなってしまった。
メイヨーは次回友人が一緒に登れる時に
挑戦することにしたのである。

メイヨーに行く途中、
ロスコモンのハドソンベイで休憩。
Conquered the Galway summit.
It was quite difficult and we got very wet.
The doggies waited at the dog friendly B&B.
ゴールウェイの頂上を制覇。
大変だったしずぶ濡れになった。
犬達は犬も泊まれる B&B で留守番。
The next day we did sightseeing in Mayo.
翌日はメイヨーを観光。

The last day we climbed the Sligo mountain.
Leitrim summit is very near Sligo summit.
As we used the paved route to the top,
we brought the doggies and a doggie cart.
最終日はスライゴーとリートリムの頂上を制覇。
リートリムの頂上はスライゴーの頂上のすぐそばにある。
山頂までの道が舗装されているので、
犬用のカート持参で犬達も一緒に来た。

Mayo is such a beautiful place.
I'm looking forward to going back there
to climb the mountain with our friend.
メーヨーの自然は本当に素晴らしかった。
友人と山に登るためにもう1度行くのが楽しみだ。
