2019 La Rochelle Holiday 1

For this year's late summer holiday,

we decided to go to La Rochelle,

the capital of the Charente-Maritime department.

今年の（遅い）夏休みは

シャラント マリティーム県の県庁所在地である

ラ・ロシェルという街に行くことにした。

First, we took a ferry from Cork to Roscoff.

まず、アイルランドのコークから

フランスのロスコフまでフェリーに乗った。

We chose a dog friendly cabin--

the doggies are allowed in the cabin.

犬も泊まれる客室をチョイスした。

犬も泊まれる客室があるという理由で

このフェリーを選択したのだ。

Arrived at Roscoff about 16 hours later.

The sailing was calm.

16時間後にはロスコフに到着。

船旅は穏やかであった。
