After arriving at Cherbourg Port,
we headed down to Barneville-Carteret,
where we had booked a gîte.
The landlady and landlord are a lovely couple.
シェルブール港に到着後、
ジーテ（民宿）のある
バルヌヴィル・カルトゥレに向かった。
車で50分くらいである。
出迎えてくれたのは
優しそうな大家さんご夫妻。
We unpacked our stuff and took a short break,
and went out for grocery shopping
as it was Saturday and
everything would be closed the following day.
荷物を片付けて少し休憩した後、
近くのスーパーに食材の買い物で出かけた。
翌日が日曜で全て閉まっているので
この日と翌日の食材を購入した。
My husband cooked a pizza for dinner
using a pizza dough.
(We thought the Irish pizza dough is nicer...)
夕食は購入したピザベースを使って
夫がピザを焼いてくれた。
（アイルランドのピザベースの方が
美味しかったかも...。）
After dinner, we drove to Barneville beach
(I drove as my husband had wine for dinner)
to watch the sunset.
夕食後は日没を見るため、
バルヌヴィルの海岸まで
私が運転して行った
（夫が夕食にワインを飲んでいたので）。
