After reading some guidebooks,
we decided to visit Château de Pirou.
However, before heading off,
we went to the local vet
to make an appointment for Miffy,
who hasn't been eating well.
ガイドブックを検討し、
この日はピルー城に行くことにした。
その前に近くの獣医に行った。
食べ物大好きなミッフィーの
食欲がなくなったので
心配になったのである。
There was a long queue
in front of the vet,
because it was Monday
and the vet was late to come in😅
We decided to
go back later in the afternoon.
獣医の前では
開院を待つ人々の行列ができていた。
週末明けの月曜だったのと
獣医が遅刻していたせいである😅
待っているのも時間の無駄なので
午後にまた来ることにした。
It was a easy drive to Pirou.
However, the castle was closed!
From 4 September (on that day),
the castle is open only
from Wednesday to Sunday.
ピルーまではそれほど遠くなかった。
しかしながら、お城は閉まっていた！
9月4日（私たちが行った日）から
水曜から日曜までしか開いてないという
表示が出ていた。
We went to the town to have lunch.
This is a typical experience
in rural France in September,
but a lot of restaurants are closed on Monday.
仕方ないのでお昼でも食べようと
ピルーの街に出てみた。
フランスの田舎では9月によくあるのだが、
多くのレストランは月曜は閉店である。
But we found a French/Spanish restaurant
and had tapas.
(No photo as I failed to save it somehow!)
しかしフランス・スペイン料理の
レストランが開いていたので
タパスを食べた。
（写真を撮ったが
ちゃんと保存されていなかった！）
Before dinner we walked to the vet
and made an appointment for Miffy.
夕食を作る前に獣医まで徒歩で行き
ミッフィーの予約を入れた。
We cooked Korma curry with rice
I brought from Ireland.
A jar of Korma was on the shelf with
other "English products".
夕食にはアイルランドから
持ってきたお米を使って
カレーを作った。
（近くのスーパーで
カレーソースを買うのは難しかった。）
After dinner, we went out for a walk
without Miffy and
bought some cakes in the bakery.
夕食後はミッフィー抜きで
軽い散歩に出て、
ベーカリーに寄った。
The dessert I had on this day:
millefeuille.
We've been watching "Fisk"
on Netflix on this holiday
while eating our dessert.
この日のデザートはミルフィーユ。
今はデザートを食べながら
ネットフリックスで
「フィスク」という
コメディを見ている。
